Amazon Trade-In shipping question

Have any of you guys shipped games back to Amazon without using a box? I notice it asks you to do so but I just have 1 game I'm selling back to them (BFBC) and I don't have any boxes laying around.
 
Trade-In implies you're shipping to Noram. If I remember correctly, I did that once. It's certainly safer in a box due to the protection. Otherwise there's no problem.

Unless the box is made specifically for the game, assuming one here, then I don't know why you would think it provides protection.

Bubble mailers are the best way to go for about 2 games depending on the mailer size, otherwise, the box is the way to go.
