What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

What is AmazonSmile?

About AmazonSmile

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What is this "glitch deals" that I keep hearing about in this thread?
On August 7th, 2014, AWD glitched out similar to how it did around penny deals, except lot of stuff went for cheap instead for a penny. The pricing algorithm went haywire and in the process lot of stuff went for cheap across the AWD spectrum from games to iphones to tablets and everything else in between. The "glitch deal" lasted for maybe a couple of hours and fellow CAGs that were around during that time made out like a bandit. Below is the timeline leading up to the night and the deals that went down on that night.

Grabbed a Switch Pro Controller for $31 Like New AWD this morning with the description of "Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged.".
I'm now looking at the listings and see a new AWD listing for $54.28 Very Good with the description of "Minor cosmetic imperfections on top, front or sides of item. Item will come in original packaging.".
Is Warehouse Deals pricing normally all over the place like this? Doesn't make a lot of sense. Regardless, they still seem to be popping up for ~$27-35 mark periodically if anyone is still on the lookout. Not exactly a $17 deal, but it's still a pretty decent discount!
They have cancelled one I ordered at $22. I see White OLED Switches for $275, went ahead and ordered one of these.

Bought a Series S|X expansion card in "Acceptable" condition for $165.

Thing is, there was no description of what MAKES it "Acceptable," which isn't a thing I've ever seen on anything but "Like New" before.

And when that happened to me on a "Like New" item, Amazon customer support assured me that meant it was in mint condition.

REALLY interested to see what shows up in a day or two here.

My switch pro controller arrived from the warehouse description was acceptable, packaging will be damaged and will have small cosmetic damage. This is what I received[attachment=36634:20220129_221652.jpg]

I talked to a rep and told them it was third party and not original nintedo branded hopefully they don't try to sell it off to someone else and continue the cycle

The other morning I saw a PS3 on the Warehouse that was rated as "Good" for ~$80.  I dragged my feet and it ended up selling, and now I only see them for over $200....did I miss out on a rare find, or do prices regulary dip that low?

PS3 prices vary depending on the model. You can find cheaper prices elsewhere. Be aware that PS3 from Warehouse usually are console only and do not include accessories.

Box was sealed but had a hole in the top. Card was pristine.

I'll take that.

I’ve had two Xbox series x/s controllers lately that were swapped with standard Xbox one controllers, I know they were probably returned that way to Amazon but this was my first week really having any issues.

amazon stopped taking trade ins for most items. so now warehouse deals are only returns and damaged packaging.
Interesting. Is there a reason they go rid of the ability to sort prices, though? Even the Amazon search I noticed don't even work right anymore.

i use this link, the low to high price works most of the time using the departments on the left hand side.but yeah, sorting prices is kinda wonky alot of the time.

Anyone get their acceptable OLED Switch yet? Ordered one last night for 254.71, hoping for a dinger.

I’ve ordered a few this way, first one was horrible, likely an attempted HWFLY install, screws were stripped, rails were damaged, total trash. Others were ok, just missing box, but perfect condition otherwise.

Hoping for the best, ordered one. I hope I don’t get that HWFLY boomerang.

I’m sure that’s a one off, I imagine you will get a perfect console, typically the “acceptable” are better than “like new”. I got one yesterday that still had a persons eshop account with the don’t require password enabled, that was odd, reformatted that right away.

Amazon $10 off locker pickup works again for some…I used it last time it works again. Works for anything shipped from Amazon…tried some preorders works too…

Doesn't the locker thing still charge shipping thus negating any deal/much of a deal to be had?
I didn’t get charged shipping on any of the items I tried, just pick an item $25 or more if u don’t have prime.

The code is 10OFFPICKUP

Need a micro sd for my switch but don’t trust the Amazon ones…so I preordered pocky rocky switch for $20 shipped after the $10 off

Thanks! Worked for me, I appreciate it. Kirby for $45 at launch is a solid deal.
