Amazon posted up a calender of what Blu-Ray and DVD deals they are going to have for this upcoming week.

Most notable in my eyes are probably -

Wolverine : Origins Blu-Ray - $9.99 tomorrow
Fast & Furious (2009) Blu-Ray - $9.99(most likely) Wednesday

Glad to see they are matching on F&F, really didn't want to go out on Black Friday to go get that. There probably are good deals on the other things for other people, but those two are the only ones that catches my attention. This should help out a lot of people deciding where to go for Blu's on Friday.

Yes, Shrike, happened at almost the exact same time yesterday. Pretty junky IMO.

and rhe lightning deals arent loading. Im on the phone with them now.

She said the site if freaking out because there are so many people on it. Just keep trying to reload. My fear is I already clamed F&F once and it glitched and showed up as 17.99 so I doubt itll let me claim it again. If this shit is happening already imagine what friday is gonna be like.

yeah they really need to get their ish together. it'd be wise to load the lightning deal pages beforehand on thursday/friday.

Mine was loaded beforehand but when I claimed the deal it just put the regular price in my cart and now I cant claim it again. Lame as hell.
anyone elses fast and furious showing up in their cart as 17. and then having a 17. promtion applied?
Did you apply the $100 360 Arcade Promo to your account. This promo is applied first then the other "promo" which is the lightening deal. Happened to me with X-Men Wolverine blu-ray, Tekken 6 bundle and Fast and Furious. They have credited my account the overcharge. They say that its showing up as 2 promo codes and that the "360 credit" comes off first then the "lightening deal promo". You will have to call back each time you want a lightening deal price. I have only $20 left so I am almost done with it.

That's why I hate this shitty lightning deal system; it's god awful. If they can't even get the deals to load, it's going to be impossible to get anything since the site alone lags to hell on BF.

Firefox is still having issues with it, as is IE.

Safari is working pretty much without issue. Well, it was, and now it's having issues.

I really hope Amazon gets this fixed quickly, or they're going to get a non-stop bitchfest about this mess.

I appreciate the info but no I dont have that credit. She said it seemed like between the time I clicked it and the time it went into my cart all the lightning deals fucked up and its price went back to 17 but still counted as my lightning deal claim.

Did they correct the price? They should make good on your order since it's obviously not sold out.

Gotcha, Did it show $9.99 in your cart but then on the last page say "-$17.99 promo applied". Thats what mine did. The CS Rep told me that the "promo credit" and the lightening deal prices are conflicting because they are considered both promo's and you cannot do both.

I cancelled it as soon as I saw it was wrong. I was just given a 10 dollar promo but now I'm not sure I wanna spend 20 promo dollars on this movie when it could be put towards something else on friday. I'm thinking it over. Looks like I'll be downloading the safari browser if it isn't having any of these problems.

Lol, take the loot and run!

That is exactly what happened. But I think that rep is mistaken because when the wolverin blu ray went on sale for the 10dollar lightning deal I got it without any problems and I had the same amount of credit then.

Is there any way to make it where when you add something to your cart you dont have to sign in before you buy it? I can see that being a problem with these games that are selling out in 30 seconds.

Once you add it to your cart and it shows the discounted price you have till like the end of the day to order it. No need to order it super fast.
I really disagree with you. The DNR on Gladiator is really noticeable especially when you see the skin tones on the theatrical footage that is DNRed compared to the added in extended footage that is not. On the extended you can see far better detail on the actors faces for instance.
Like I said, it didn't bother me near what the Internetz made it out to be or even what I expected it might be, but (as I also clearly said) other people might be bothered by it a lot. Not everyone sees these things the same way, so it's always best to rent unless you already know how bothered you'll be by any digital scrubbing.

Just as a point of reference.

Sorry but there's NO excuse to this EVER. But if you like this... then enjoy. I know I won't put my hard earned money towards this.

So on the calendar page at the bottom it says:
"Preview Our Thursday and Friday All-Day Deals In addition to our Lightning Deals above, hundreds more DVDs and Blu-ray discs will be at special all-day sale prices Thursday and Friday. Get a sneak peek below and check here Thursday, starting 12am PST, for the full list."

I always get confused with time. Are these better deals starting tonight at midnight or tomorrow night at midnight. 12:01 AM tonight is Thursday and 12:00 AM tonight is still Wednesday. So it should start tomorrow night, correct? I Just wanted to double check so as to not miss out. Thanks.

I ordered Zack and Miri for 4 bucks. I've been wanting to see the movie and that was a good price.

I thought it was funny, definitely worth $4 bucks. If anyone's interested, it looks like they have the Blu-ray on sale for $11.99 right now. Zack and Miri BLU
Still trying to decide if I liked QoS enough to buy it for $10. :p
I've been debating the same question.

I think I'll give it a go though. I liked Casino Royale enough for $10.

Tomorrow morning at 3AM ET will be rather interesting.
