oos for good maybe? Til spring lol possible with the way GS acting with Ike and dedede cause if GS ain't getting none for that long then more then likely that applies to other retailers also

according to the memo each store is only being sent enough for 1 for each customer who preordered.. so technically you're screwing over 2 other people if you pickup all 3

Considering the fact mine are fully paid for, I would be the one getting screwed.

The rep at GS.com could not answer me and the store I have mine pre-ordered at had not seen the memo. Apparently they may not have had a high amount of pre-orders.

I will be there early on Wednesday, trying to collect what I have paid for.

Did you have to pay in full or choose to pay in full? If you were the first perdon to preorder I'm behind you 100% but if you were number 10 you shouldn't feel entitled.
 
My Meta Knight is waiting for me to pick up at BB.

I placed orders at GS and TRU for wave 3 back when it was first announced.

Rosalina, Lucario, Shulk in hand.

I have them all from TRU in hand except for DeDeDe.

Still need sonic, Ike, megaman, and DeDeDe to be shipped to my local GS.

Glad I pre-ordered from 2 locations because GS as always, can't come through.

When I picked up my Shulk, they confirmed to me that I had 2x MM and 2x Sonic pre-ordered at that store but that I'd only be allowed to buy one, due to the supply/demand/flippers.... unless I paid for them before they got them in.

I thought it was kinda sketchy but at the same time, they weren't wrong about the lack of supply or the abundance of flippers so I paid for them. I wonder what's gonna happen with that.

 
Heads up for Seattle folks, Best Buy Northgate received 0 Ike's. Can't believe their store in the largest city in Washington received 0. 11 Meta Knight, only 4 that will be available for people without preorders, didn't ask about Dedede since I got in on the Walmart order yesterday. Still missing Sonic, so I asked about him and their inventory system said there were 7 in transit to each store in the district, but who knows what day those will arrive.

Yeah. God Forbid 2 other people who also pre-ordered from Gamestop also get their amiibos. Sorry, while I don't want a flame war, I have no sympathy. If the choice is to limit people to one or make some go without ... well, then it's only fair everyone gets ONE. Besides, it's Nintendo's fault for low supply, not Gamestop ... oh God, did I just defend Gamestiop ... I feel so dirty :cool:

That's great and all except they didn't stop anyone until after the fact nd probably can't stop anyone who ordered for home delivery. If you're going to limit orders, limit them from the start, not after sitting on money for months when other opportunities are arising. If anything this just promotes over ordering

I pre-ordered early. There aren't a lot of pre-orders done at that GS.

What I choose to do with three Ikes is my business. I could have ordered one for my wife or my brother or my sister or a friend or one of my kids or a coworker.

So are people getting seperate calls for each amiibo from GS? I missed my call at 5pm and I ended up calling thier customer service and waiting 40 minutes for the guy to tell me absolutely nothing of help. Got off the phone and noticed a voicemail finally popped up saying that my DDD will be available next wednesday but no mention of Ike. Just wondering if I shoukd expect another call or not.

I received some of my amiibos from Target.com and they put two of them in a tiny box and completely bent the card backings to make them fit inside.

I bought these for collectible purposes and wasn't planning on opening them.  I'm planning on calling customer service to see what I can do.

Anyone have any experience with this?

they were obviously lied to about how many ike's they were getting or they wouldn't have allowed more preorders. It's nintendo's fault not gamestops.

They could have easily outright cancelled everyone's order that ordered more than 1, they should be thankful they're letting them get 1 at all.

Or GS could have notified people a week or two prior to release date instead of the day before release date (I was informed this evening that the release date was changed from 2/20 to 2/25). If I had known this, I could have bought Ikes from Target when they were available online while I was looking at my cart with three in it.

Oh, only when it is convenient for the retailer to hold the consumer's money in their bank account collecting interest on it up until the last minute.

See now this is a good point I too had chance to order Ike from Target but passed because of my GS preorder

Well you're wrong. He paid in full months ago. This isn't charity. Everyone who liked this is advocating socialism. Those amiibo never make it to that store if he hadn't ordered them. Stop telling people what they can/should do with their amiibo because it's none of your business. This is simply bad business on Gamestop's part.

Just had the same exact thing. I called them and was told to return to store or mail back since they didn't have anymore in stock to send out. I'm gonna call again tomorrow and see if I can get someone a bit more helpful.

Basically they will offer you a return and hopefully say sorry... They have no real way of replacing it plus it's amiibo so it's up to you to find another

Has anyone had their Mega Man from Best Buy ship?

Every other order from this wave has shipped, except poor blue bomber.

 
Just logged into my WalMart account and both King Dedede and Mega Man shipped that I ordered yesterday. Never got a shipping confirmation email. Anyone else who ordered should check your WalMart account for shipping.
 
Yeah, sadly your best bet if you want undamaged packages is to unload them at a markup and use the cash to buy another from a reseller.

Returning it will 100% result in you getting a refund and not a replacement.

When you preorder from any retailer, you agree to be bound by their terms and conditions. One of those terms and conditions is the right to refuse to sell you anything and to provide you with a refund instead. Frankly, I applaud Gamestop for trying to be fair about things and actually get Amiibos in the hands of people who want them to keep and not hoarders and resellers.

My goal is to try to get a partial refund. AT LEAST refund me my shipping.

 
I pre ordered Mega Man in store at GameStop in December. Has anyone gotten a call for him yet? They called me the day Shulk came in, but I haven't gotten a call for Mega Man yet and it seems like they should have gotten them in by now.
 
Just checked and DDD from Walmart will be here Saturday along with my target order of Ike and Mega Man. Best Buy order of MK will be here tomorrow. Thanks to everyone posting when they came live, can't believe I got them. Good luck to everyone else with your orders.

Gamestop always sends me text messages telling me when my preorders will be available to pickup. They called me for Diddy Kong, but not for Shulk, so I don't know if I would count on them calling you.

I wish that were true! He sells for just under $40 buck on ebay. Most of the store exclusives do (rosalina and lucario)

I sadly gave up on Ike, and bought him for $38. Which is funny because I balked when Marth was $40, now Marth is over $100 :whistle2:(
