Not surprised people got orders in for more than 2 of him. I feel like I could have gotten in 2-3 more orders before someone posted it was OOS the second time. Held off because I only need/want 2. I wonder if there's a chance they'll cancel orders if they see people made multiple ones on the same account.

I don't disagree and his mention of 2,000 in Oklahoma was obviously an exaggeration, I just don't understand his aversion to pre-ordering considering his stated alternative of driving around 50+ miles looking for one. Some people seem to have this weird notion that pre-orders are evil or bad for the industry or the hobby, and follow that notion religiously even at their own detriment.

BB website said my local store had Shiek and Toon Link. They weren't on the floor, but I asked and they found them in the back. Think I'm just going to collect the Zelda and Metroid series amiibo.

I sit down for lunch and decide to check the thread to see what's going on. After reading a few pages, it makes me realize that the small percentage of people on here and Reddit represent the reason why I've never collected anything. Hostility is also run rampant (FYI the c-word is never acceptable, even behind the protection of your computer).

I know the mass majority of people on here are amazing people as I've been hooked up with some unicorns for half of less than what the asking price on eBay. It's just the few that have to screw it up and are the ones that makes these retail chains hate the word Amiibo.

I don't know, I just don't think these will be that hard to come by.

In the end, it's still Mario. Nintendo really doesn't have any reason not to produce a crap ton of these. I know it's exclusive to one retailer and all but still.

I may be wrong, just my prediction.

Went into a meeting and missed Gold Mario again. Damn. I should just make a sign and put it on my office door that states: "Hunting Amiibos, only email communication allowed."
