Some people have no jobs and no life. They can hunt for little nintendo toys all day 24/7. Just the way it is. I'll never understand the ones who need to share pictures of their stash to random internet strangers that they will never meet in real life. Are you that desperate for attention and validation? Lol

Missed Gold Mario three times already - probably what I deserve for hating on Walmart as a company so damn much. :p

Guess I'll keep refreshing every so often to see if he turns up again.

I've only gotten a few from WM but all of them had free shipping and all of them have arrived safely, even the two orders where they shipped the figures right in the flimsy Amiibo manufacturer's box.

 
From the last few pages of this thread - buying extras for trades seems like it might be causing as much if not more trouble than reselling. I hope you guys realize there is very little difference between the two. I certainly don't care what people do with their money, but I do get bothered by blatant hypocrisy.

Exactly. Does anyone just buy 1 for themselves anymore? Every post is I got 2-4 of whatever the hot preorder is. Literally every post.

really? i never notice they offered free shipping until now. I ordered mega man when it went up and my order is still in delayed. So I don't feel too confident in this order right now.

While I agree that in the aggregate the buying an extra one or two probably does more to artificially increase demand and decrease supply than the large scale flippers, I think that the degree to which the guy that posted that picture is hurting CAGs and others in his local community is probably a bigger and more offensive problem.

 
I need to go cook dinner and can no longer sit here F5ing Wal-Mart's page hoping this shit comes back. I'm out. If someone who got 4, 6, or 8 feels sympathetic, I'll trade you a Toad for one later when they release. Good luck to anyone still refreshing. 

 
Man, either I was so gosh darn naive in the beginnings of the first thread, or this crap is just spreading/bringing in more and more of the wrong crowd.  I hate this, and I hate myself for being so weak that I feel the need to buy a set of this garbage for myself, which sustains the market by lowering supply.

  • Confirming you had a trade in accepted
  • Showing us a clearance item you got
Oh wait, none of that is sad. Bragging isn't bad especially when we are all happy when we get a great deal. Some people just get better deals / quantity. Can't hate on one form of bragging and than say its ok for another.

I don't know what magic Nintendo is using. I told myself that I would only be buying one or two figures. I have 8 sitting on my desk, 2 about to be delivered, and 2 on preorder. FML

 
Went to GS to get my Ike and Dedede, was told they were coming in the spring. Even though I ordered them in November. Do I believe the guy or not haha.

Well, letting others new pre-orders are open and letting people know they got something on clearance so then they too can see if they can find one, isnt exactly bragging.

There's less "large scale" resellers out there than you think. For every one of them, there's ten collectors. Not much of a difference if one guy buys twenty vs. ten guys buying two.

If the argument on why "scalpers" are bad is that they take opportunities away from regular consumers. Collectors who buy multiples are doing the exact same thing. It's hypocritical for any of them to hassle resellers, plain and simple.

Sorry, didn't mean they always offer free shipping (unless you order over $50 of stuff) but I ordered some Amiibo from wave 2 and 3 and all of them have shipped free, even though I usually only get 1 or 2. Even my preorders for the SM series is shipping free.

As for fulfilling orders, I guess that's a different story. I never had issues with them though in that regard.
