Jesus, its already starting and they havent even officially went on sale yet. At this point, who gives a shit if he bought 2 for whatever reason he wanted.

 
called my local walmart.  employee stated "limit 2 per customer.  Limited stock.  I can not say how many are in store"

I asked if more than 1 person would be able to purchase them, and he replied "limited stock"

lol idiots. I don't know why people bother to line up across the street instead of camping out at a fast food place, bar, etc. I wonder if other times people were like "I was in front of them on the other line!"

 
My walmart just told me they will have 50 gold mario amiibos tomorrow. She seemed pretty confident in her answer lol. Definitely not true. Probably 50 of the Mario wave total. Should have had her scan the barcode.

That is sorta what happened years ago when the first Wii was rare. People were waiting in their cars, due to near 0* temps, and when it came time to start lining up, people were arguing over who was parked in the lot first, like that dictated their spot in line.

 
Went to the other closest Walmart after the first said they wouldn't sell them until the 24th, they said they didn't get any amiibo at all. I guess I'm going to call the Walmarts 40 minutes away.
 
I called two seperate walmarts the first told me they would have it but in "very very limited quanity like in the single digits" and "no way will I get one" while his buddy was lauging in the background.. Second walmart a young lady awnsered but had no idea what I was talking about and simply said they dont have it, she couldnt find the item number and the walmart number I gave from the website did nothing. There a bunch of other walmarts in my area but I'm just going to hope one of my pre orders comes through. So far Target and TRU are the only stores who seem to know what they are doing with the exclusive amiibos. 

 
I called walmart about the gold mario amiibo and they lady said "Don't worry we will look for your friend. Does he speak English?"

not a true story. probably not a new joke either.

 
Missouri gold mario is very hard to get for me!

store #1 40 hwy by noland road independence. gold mario still in the truck, no clue how many they will have.
told be back midmight.

store #2 independence by samsclub. 7 gold mario and will sell at midnight (i will be here)

store #3 lees summit by 24 hour fitness. 16 gold mario and it will be on the back room till 9 am or 10 am till that only special electonic guy show up and put out for sell. asked 3 diffrent peoples the same answers.

store #4 bluesprings by homedepot. unknown !!!!! team members too secret!
 
How do you people with lives handle situations like this? I want to go line up to get a Gold Mario but my girlfriend wants to see me tonight. I have a couple preorders in but I have very little faith they will be fulfilled. Should I just suck it up and rely on my walmart.com preorders? I'm going to go crazy if I can't keep my collection complete. Maybe we will get lucky and they will start shipping them today...

Checked out a Walmart on my way home. They had all the Super Mario amiibo on pegs minus Bowser and Gold Mario. So unless they had separate launch dates, I'll presume that Gold Mario us already gone from that location.

well the sidewalk where people line up for NW is part of Rockefeller Plaza/Center whatever. I guess since it's private property they have set times when people can loiter.

across the street is not part of Roc Center. people often line up on this street, parallel to where they would had Roc Center allowed lineups. I would think many people foolish believe this fake line acts as the official line before the official line starts...

My wii fit trainer i ordered from walmart a few days ago came in and i'm still in awe that I was able to get one on such a limited stock

 
Check your Walmart orders, guys and gals. My Gold Mario's have shipped, I just haven't gotten an email confirmation. Was checking to see if I could upgrade my shipping, but was surprised to see they had shipped already. Hooray.

My order was placed on March 16th..still shows

Arrives by Tue, Mar 24
been saying that for a few days so hopefully it will ship tomorrow

Haha. We've been seeing each other nearly every day (I think we haven't seen each other twice now) since mid-january and I actually could use a break but I'm not stupid enough to tell her that. Last thing I want is to upset the apple cart and have that form of entertainment dry up.

 
Visiting my parents that live in the middle of no where and the employee in the Walmart electronics tried telling my gf and I that they were not getting them in. Finally got him to say they had 8 in stock(he didn't check the system or ask anyone). So shady.
 
While mine Gold Mario still hasn't shipped, I do see that the option to cancel this order has disappeared. Guess that's a good thing. And unfortunately due to change of plans tonight. I cannot swing by that Walmart in Pearland TX to take picture of the guy hogging all the Gold Marios in his cart waiting for midnight. But if someone on here live in the Pearland area. Please go and take a pic :)

I just checked my order as well and it was shipped from Indianapolis via UPS. I chose standard shipping and live in CA. Expected delivery is Wednesday, March 25, 2015. I placed an order during the first wave.
