How early do you think people should go to GS for Ness. Im central time so I have about an hour before they start doing the preorders.

I think 5 minutes for the others.

To people freaking out over Pac-Man and Charizard, these guys are going to be commons. I really wouldn't worry about it.

fuck me for having to work for a living. I'm not even going to bother with Ness because that'll be gone within 15 seconds because Gamestop make the mistake of announcing its availability beforehand.
 
 damn i cant believe my luck. I just woke up and got 2 of robin and one lucina. I woke up at the right time got 2 of everyone else. hopefully they will go through. Missed jigglypuff though. Ill get ya you big puffball!. now to get ness

A Bestbuy employee on Reddit actually leaked the Wave 4 Amiibos. I think that's why it sold out so fast. There were direct links (before you could even search them) and a time frame.

Yeah, the update didn't come from the official GameStop account so I wouldn't be surprised if it went up online too. That said, it's 12pm PDT for me so I'm going to take my "lunch" break to go do it, lol.

Does this happen to any other product? Put on sale and then sold out within 5 minutes?

Is Nintendo still only making like 5 of each of these things even now that they know they're a success?

I have so many questions.
 
Ughhh Only got a Pacman in.

Why does getting an amiibo need to be so stressful? Supposed to go into work at 2 today but made up an excuse to go in late to get Ness. Really hope nothing else goes up until later tonight. Really mad I missed Jigglypuff.

 
So I ordered a Robin and a Lucina amiibo at Best Buy with the order going through, but the card bounced afterword. I'm unsure if I still have the preorder but need to update CC or if I lost my amiibos because of it. Any thoughts?

This has happened to pre-orders on amiami for Bandai stuff before. Stuff sells out in minutes once it goes live. The good thing about that is they put exactly when the pre-orders will go up so everyone is ready.

 
Canceled all but Robin and Lucina as I didn't realize my Elite status is no longer active so it was charging $5.95 PER figure. $32 for those two sucks massively but at least I have those taken care of. Will try Wario Pac-Man Charizard somewhere else and hope Jigglypuff comes back. Wife is going to store here in a hour for Ness so hope that goes through.

I don't mean to get you down but it's free shipping when you order at least 3. So you could have thrown in an extra character and it would have been about the same price.

In any case, it was a very small allotment that went up for pre-order and they will be available to pre-order again in the upcoming days. It was only one per order and they went faster than ever before. Stay glued to your PC F5ing if it's important to you.

Hopefully some retailers took a hint from Walmart and will start listing these almost once a day like Gold Mario.

 
Is it confirmed that gamestop is doing in store preorders at 3PM EST? Has anyone even called or is it just based on this mythical memo picture?

 
On my way to one of the 2 Gamestops in my area.. undisclosed location so no one shows up lol

Hah, I woke up about ten minutes ago, just barely in time to miss the Fire Emblem characters. Shame. When I think about it, though, I would've had to pay shipping, anyway, which steers me away from Best Buy. I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope for the best when it comes to Amazon/Gamestop.

And if not... maybe it's a good thing I haven't tried to give away my Rosalina and Shulk yet.
