Hey, my local Meijer has a couple Amiibos marked down since they don't have a whole lot of room for them, is it worth picking some up at 9 dollars or are there enough regular sales on the common ones that I could pass on them?

 
ShopTo.net (UK) still has Palutena, Dark Pit and Zero Suit Samus available for preorder.  Ganondorf is sold-out and the others (Dr. Mario, Olimar, Bowser Jr.) are not listed yet.  Comes to about $30 USD shipped.  I've ordered from them in the past (Xenoblade, Last Window) and never had any problems.  Might be a nice alternative for those who missed out on Play-Asia Wave 5 preorders.  Just a heads up!

It's piece-of-mind for missing those 10 minute preorder windows at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and TRU. If I get a NA preorder, I cancel my UK preorder, but if I miss out, I'm still paying less than US eBay prices (and I *refuse* to pay a reseller for amiibos, they're part of the problem.) Although i enjoy collecting, I also open some of my amiibos for their functionality (4 of my little guys are farming custom parts in Smash as we speak), so non-US version don't bother me at all. To each their own; they still sell out fast on import sites and I'm just letting other people on this thread know!

ha! Finally scored a Jigglypuff at Target.com.

I noticed a trend that they have been going up most nights at exactly 10:18pm CST for less than a minute.

 
what browser are you guys using?  is it true that Internet Explorer is better to get Jiggly?

I'm on a macbook pro and IE is fucking godawful... I tried with a cloud based Internet Explorer app for Chrome but that's janky, too..

I have seen Fast 7 twice so far (Just left it earlier), my mom and a few other people busted out in the theater crying at that stupid song.

I turn everytime it comes on the radio because I don't wanna go from jamming to Taylor Swift to feeling feels.

Yeah, it almost got me the first time. But I managed to catch that shit right before my eyes started watering, because my brother would have never let me live it down if I busted out crying. The group of girls next to us were totally gone though

i saw jiggly tonight but i already got in last night so i wanted to save some for others. i got pretty much all of wave 4 now.  got an import greninja, if i find one at TRU it'll be great but i can live with an import.

Got in a pre-order for ZSS with Shopto by signing in with Facebook after failing several times with my credit card. All I need is Ganondorf, Dr. Mario, and Falco. Then I'm out of the game for good.
 
If you haven't seen, a reddit user claims in Redlands, CA the Toys R Us put out the pre order cards tonight and he was able to buy one...

looks legit.. guess I'm heading to TRU in the morning.   hopefully this is true and corporate doesn't find out within 3 hours of the stores opening and shut it down before I get a chance at it on the West Coast LOL

it's the wave of misdirection LOL they're afraid of the mobscene created by Nintendo nerds so they do a bait and switch to avoid a crush. I mean, really, what the hell do they care - it's a guaranteed sell out and they'll get their money. People are already going to be mad because stock is limited so that's unavoidable. It's easier to sneak them out and then when the mob comes just turn them away because you are emptyhanded LOL I'd be a horrible like regional retail manager or whatever.

I finally installed LINE and PMd Skaflone. I've missed far too much this wave, and other stuff I've gotten out of pure luck in timing. If the rumors are true about Amazon tomorrow, I will kick my own balls if I miss it.

hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think the alerts room is already full... the chat room is always super helpful, though

 
and to make this even better, over at nowinstock people are chiming in from places like Philly and other unnamed spots saying their local TRU did it too, and when people realized it, they sent their friends and family in and basically cleaned them out of greninga already

hey on the bright side, I don't think it's super widely known (that imgur post only has like 2000+ views as of midnight pacific time) so nobody has time to plan ahead. Hopefully they'll wake up normally, check whatever forum, find it but realize they shouldn't be irresponsible just to try and get an amiibo. Maybe there's a good window still left for us in the morning. A TRU employee "confirmed" they're not registered locked and are able to be rung up.
