Meh, all I know is I got a page monitor alert (set it up yesterday morning before work. When it when off at 12ish, both AC Vol 1 and 2 were in stock at the time. I could have bought them if I'd wanted.

I don't know what's worse, charging 1000$ for something that takes 3 or so bucks to make or the people that are actually willing to spend that much money on a plastic amiibo, unreal v_v

So I have every amiibo so far, but I'm running out of space for them. I think I'm going to open up all of the commons and buy a spice rack or something for the loose ones. I'm pretty OCD and am not sure if I should do it!

If you wanna go the spice rack option I'll recommend the spicy rack (it's a seen on TV item) very adjustable and customizable... This is my setup with all the smash waves so far... Amiibo fight Club I call it

I have all of them so far. I might open a Ness and Shulk because I have an extra,also might open my foreign reprint Villager, WTF and Marth.

I only know cause I literally check Amiami every night they update... But they were up for quite awhile.

 
I actually enjoy using my amiibo for SSB, no fun in the boxes... Sit on the toilet, grab an amiibo and train a few matches (judge me)... My Ness started beating me down at around 40. I now cannot beat him at 48. It even whoops my 50 Kirby (was the champ) that I got day one with my N3DS.

Ya sorry I didn't see all the post but yes it's the Ikea deloft case for $65... The spicy shelf at Bed, Bath and Beyond $21... Then I found the lights at my local dollar tree $5 and printed the little mat off the computer.....highly recommended everyone who hunts amiibo or collects anything own this case

yeah i've got one of these cases too came from amazon very similar to the ikea one.  Loaded with video game stuff and transformers masterpiece figures.

 
i also use a spice organizer, i do like that stackable one. wish i lived near an ikea to get a display (shipping is crazy expensive for one). for the most part i'm oob and have the current set just not sure if i'm staying in this game.

If you're as bad as me you won't want to throw away the boxes for the opened ones anyway. Next, you'll want a sealed set and an opened set to use. Then, you'll consider wanting import sets...thankfully I've stopped at this point but I'm worried if I get a FamiROB that will just open Pandora's (sealed) box.

 
These may be too common to care, but if you've had trouble finding them, Inkling Boy and Girl and Silver Mario are all in stock at walmart.com right now.

Anything with glass that has broken or missing pieces they wont sell as scratch and dent. Its too risky for them to have injurys if people cut them selves on broken glass. Missing pieces is easy enough to just ask for new ones from ikea

A JPN Fox just arrived the other day... Have a Rosetta & Chiko and Rockman on the way. My ocd wants me to get all the Japanese named version... yes I have issues

The Ikea display won't practically fit in my bedroom. Anyone know of decent display cases that I can put on a dresser or something? I have my amiibo packed away in post office boxes. I ordered the one with the most volume. Can fit 16 amiibo (can maybe fit 18-21 if rearranged and no bags)... Don't ask how many boxes I packed already or how many amiibo left to put away :shock:

I was actually going for 2 of everything, US versions, which I have a full set so far, and extras of every rare one aside from US Villager/WFT. didn't bother with extras of the commons, which I'm glad I didn't do that. But I still have 2 of everything that matters! I'm going for all of the Smash amiibo (Aside from toad, famirob, and 8 bit Mario) then I'm done. Worrying about pre orders is stressful!

Edit: I threw the boxes away, fuck that, the only reason I opened them was because I ran out of room to display them. I ended up stacking them in front of each other. Which pretty much defeats the purpose

I started to get like this, then decided to keep one set open and only one sealed. I keep the EUR set as i like it better for smash and NA for the rest. I opened my NA smash set.
 
Has anyone seen charizard or 3 pack pop up online anywhere? Walmart shipped one of my orders to the wrong address then requested the package back and refunded my order

Nope, too many scalpers here that buy out all stock just to sell them. Had one guy last week try to sell off 5 charizards not to trade but just to sell for $50 each because he saw that price off ebay.

 
Another local update:

Saw 3 Sonics at the WhiteOak BestBuy in Garner, NC. There's still a Wario at the GameStop at 40/42 in Clayton. Nothing interesting at the WhiteOak and Shoppes at Garner GameStops.

After opening up the more common ones today. Here's my current situation, this was packed full of boxed amiibo, you could only see about 12 of them, haha.

So anyone try that Action Replay Amiibo save thing? Does it work well? I know I wanna try to transfer my current Zelda Amiibo data to my custom Zelda one.

Plus... with the new games coming out that will make you "choose" which data is saved on it between games.. Kinda thinking this will be helpful to not lose data when using Amiibos between games.
