I rather get Ikea Detolf for $65. I have one and it's great. I might need to get another one since I dont have any space left for my toys LOL

That is very fair. Good point. I just think Wii Fit Trainer was kind of silly to put in SSB. But now I feel like I am getting off topic because this is an amiibo forum, not a SSB one. I always forget that...

Got my Ness in from AmiAmi, perfect condition. Really wish AmiAmi stocked more of the Amiibos, would much rather just order through them than deal with the shenanigans

 
I wanted to buy two Wii Fit Trainer since the beggining (1 for me, and 1 for my mom who loves playing the Wii Fit games with me so much she bought a Wii just for the game).
Then pokemon was released the same day. I didn't really want to spend so much that month so I passed on all figures. Two weeks later, I held both her and villager in my hand (while looking at Marth) and figured not many people would want them. I'll get them all when I get paid again..
I'm still kicking myself for that, as Villager was the one I wanted the most.

I showed my mom the WFT I acquired recently. She really wanted it. Maybe I'll try to get an OOB figure for her birthday.

I have this case for some other figures I once collected. There's actually a bigger one, but they don't sell it at the container store. I've only ever seen it on ebay occasionally.
If I opened my amiibos, I'd definitely get that. Great case.

At launch everyone was saying what a peg warmer she would be and...she wasn't. Now all those crazies MUST HAVE her cause she's rare.

It's really, really funny. I loved the people canceling their pre-orders because of the 'support plastic'.

I think I recall you posting this months ago lol. I thought the exact same. Then come December they started disappearing... I got preorders for wave 2 and 3 right after... but still passed on Little Mac / Pit when I saw in store. Would have been nice to have had extras!

The drops happened a few weeks ago. Not sure how Nintendo decides to discount certain characters. What about Mario or Pikachu? Why was Donkey Kong and later Diddy discounted when no other versions are even announced? Does anyone know if JPN/EU versions of any character were discounted (as in all offficial retailers had it for that price or lower)?

Last few weeks i don't see mega man at target, walmart or bestbuy, this week bestbuy have 2 to 4 mega man per store. Target have none and walmart have 2 or 4. I see bestbuy have 6 to 8 pikachu :)

My biggest complaint with them is they made a serious mistake in beveling the sides of the base at an angle. There's probably very few people who would only buy one or two of these for a specific amiibo. There's a TON of shelf space lost because these can't be placed/fit/stacked perfectly together. Really a bad design flaw there IMO.

Kind of unrelated, but if you have that absolutely massive Titanfall CE statue and no room for it, it fits perfectly on top of the detolf* case

Seriously. I buy amiibo instead of the games they work with because I never know which I'll see after the release date..

Really, WTF?! I actually purchased an Ike and King Dedede from there (Amazon MX) earlier today, lol. The price for them was actually reasonable too, $13.30 per NA Amiibo. Got an email saying I should be getting them by, July 7th or earlier!
