managed a Pit and a Dr mario, had everything but forgot my damn password.  By the time I reset it those were all that was left

I grabbed Pit, Marth and pre-ordered retro mario and Gannon. Had Wii Fit trainer in my cart and the site froze and it was gone before i could reset. So annoying lol

Managed to get Dr Mario an Pit. Didn't have any more money to get the rest. Hoping BB actually puts them up soon so I can get the GCU discount and use my BB credit card on them
 
Dang. Missed everything but Dr. Mario. Good enough though. One less place to stop that day. Ordered two to save shipping. If anyone local wants to trade him for another exclusive PM me.
 
Got into work this morning, noticed someone had posted the pre-order links, and prepared to order...but everything was gone...even old restocks that I still need. Man oh man, how is this still happening almost 10 months from launch?

Oh right, Nintendo of America's incompetence.

After how easy it was for everyone to get the retro 3 pack, I think we all got lulled into a false sense of security. The amiibo struggle is still very real if this is any indication. I really thought that they would stock a ridiculously high amount of Classic Mario's but now not so sure.
 
I don't shop at target much. I forgot my passeord after reset everything i only got Dr. Mario. Learned my last lesson end up buy 2 dr mario in separate orders. Will deal with the rest in store. Now if i can pre order jr. Bowser then i'm set.

That pic is from last month or so. There's another glass cabinet already sitting next to it, but occupied by other stuff at the moment. The space isn't utilized fully so I have to get some other risers as shown in this pic. As for more Amiibos... you know what... that's future ME's problem. =P

I'm sure I'm not the only one buying 2x of each of these euro imports to ensure getting one in great condition for NiB complete euro set, or single boxed set.

And of course I had absolutely NO CLUE these would be posted at 7am otherwise I would have been up to order them, but I did get Dr. Mario and Rosalina(Figured I would get her) so at least got something but still want the others :(
 
Man, I'd been out of the habit of keeping up when these would start to go up. Not that I would have been up around 7-8 regardless, only was able to get Splatoon 3 pack and Dr. Mario. Going to have to line up early to get Olimar, ZSS, Ganondorf, and Mario (Along with hoping to find a Bowser Jr since I have no TRU or family near one)

 
Shovel Knight is making big waves in the amiibo scene. This is the first time that a company other than Nintendo is handling the distribution of its own figure, and it’s the first licensed amiibo.

In a recent interview, Nintendo’s Damon Baker said that the company “is certainly open” to the possibility of more indie/third-party amiibo. He also said that the Big N will “continue looking at proposals” and “there’s every opportunity”.

I agree. This is typical "N" BS spin. We're open to, means not likely, so don't expect it.

 
Missed out on everything but Dr Mario. At least I won't have to camp out for it.

Hopefully I don't miss out on best buys pre orders since I rather order from there to save more with gcu

only wanted classic mario, current mario or whatever he's called, dr. mario maybe and the splatoon restock. I may have to go stand in line at BB on 9.11 since that's where I want to buy them at anyway.

 
It sucks everything sold out so fast but at least the store exclusives look like they've been stocked well.

 
Man, importing from Japan really is the way to go.  I'm sitting here with the whole wave already in-hand while so many people are going nuts.
