Yay, first time I've successfully pre-ordered an amiibo..... not counting the times they never shipped of course.

.....god I hope this one comes in.

 
Got a preorder in for Falco too! I don't really care about anymore of the new amiibos coming out but I have to have a Falco to go with my Fox! : P

 
I was looking over a checklist this morning of all the available amiibo so far.

Somehow I ended up with almost all these damn things. A figure here and there somehow turned into the entire set.

I don't know if I should be filled with regret or not.

Edit: The big conundrum is over Disney Infinity. I don't have time to enjoy the game anymore but as a Disney nut I really enjoy having all the characters...but I feel like it's just too much keeping up with both Infinity and Amiibo, but I'm having a hard time pushing myself to let Infinity go.

I stopped to count today and realized I had bought 20 amiibo. I realize that many of you on here have far more on that but I'm simply dumbfounded that I somehow justified putting this much money into these things. Initially I told myself I would be done after the fire emblem ones, but during my wait for Roy, I picked up so many others. Heck, I bought olimar and I don't even like the pikmen series that much. I see that Falco is up, but I need to start passing on these.

14 Amiibo releasing in November, LoL. At least I think that's the correct count.

I know exactly how you feel. I started off with Mega Man and Pac-Man, just because I love the characters, and now I'm sitting around 30. Bought 10 alone last week with all the restocks! LOL

And I just got into Disney Infinity thanks to Star Wars. Then Marvel 2.0 is a BB Deal of the Day; then the figures and power discs for 2.0 are on sale. NOW the figures and power discs for 1.0 are on sale. ARRRRGH! So, I picked up 2.0 and 6 extra Marvel figures and a dozen packs of the power discs. Now I'm debating, how badly do I want 1.0? It's on clearance at Wal-Mart and the figures are $7 this week at Toys R Us. Oh, and the other Marvel 2.0 sets are on sale at Walmart.com. Somebody, HELP ME!! :)

Remember that for store pickup you do have to talk to a human at the customer service desk. While they will probably let it roll through since it was an online order, you might have a manager/employee that will give you grief over it, and potentially disallow it. They normally enforce 1 per customer at my nearby stores, so take that as you will.

Under Gamer's Club rules though, you can get discounts on up to three though (if that's why you are buying for a friend).

 
Got a Falco order in just now. The old me would have ordered 2, but I just need an opened one. I don't have the desire to have an extra sealed one anymore.
 
Also got a Falco - hope they don't put that awful sticker on it - that yellow and white one that doesn't always come clean off. I still have residue or sections where the sticker took off the surface underneath on blu-ray slip cases. I returned my Retro Triple pack to Gamestop for damage totalling far less than those bastard things.

 
Grabbed a Falco, surprised it's lasted more than an hour...debating whether to order another for a sealed one at another store..but I think the hype is dying. BB I was at during lunch had all the restocks still and it's the most popular location in Houston..

Yea the hype is definitely slowing down. It seems people are saving up for the holiday rush, coupled with the reason amiibo were so hard to get in the first place, the secondary market, is shrinking. But Nintendo. December will come around and you will be lucky to find a Mario.
 
Hella late to the party and still got a Falco pre-order in. I love the non-shortage era. No more missing a 1 minute and 39 second window to get a Rosalina because you were dropping a dookie.
