YES!!! Finally online when a store updated their amiibos!! Preordered pit and falcon!

How has Walmart been with fulfilling amiibo preorders though?

BTW, what would you guys recommend? Instore pickup or shipping? After seeing pics of places like BB and Amazon shipping these things and the packaging getting absolutely demolished, would it be better for pickup?

They sent out my Little Mac the day after I preordered it on the 19th. It is supposed to come tomorrow so I will see how they did on packing it.

Checked one last time for a GameStop with Pit before I left work and found one 35 minutes away that held it for me. Along with that they gave me a few free styluses for my daughters 3ds system.

Very happy to track down the last wave 2 today.

Did it let you choose in-store pickup??? it said in-store pickup on my screen but I couldn't find a way to choose it at all

 
Wouldn't think one would be more safe than the other because they have to ship them to the stores right?

Ehh - guess they ship multiple in larger packaging so maybe it is more safe...

Cool. I ordered another pit to cover my best buy order if it falls through.

Hope this wave 2 nightmare is over.

Wave 3 double preordered to soften the blow next time

Also, my little Mac arrived in the mail from best buy today.

It really sucks that so many of us are having to order doubles (or triples even) simply because we don't know whether to trust one retailer or another. Ugh.
 
Has anyone been able to pre-order amiibos in store at Best Buy? I tried to pre-order a couple for wave 3 today via the kiosk but couldn't find them at all. I searched amiibo, Wii-U and character names but was unsuccessful.

 
For anybody in the roseville, MI area. My lil mac and diddy in store pickups came in. I had already gotten 1 of each from gamestop out of panic. I'll either trade one for CF or Pit because I don't have either pit and need an extra CF and need them for my set or I'll sell them for the $14 I spent at GS. Figured I'd do that over return since I didn't plan on selling either.

Im curious too...would want to do a few preorders at stores for exclusives, and other wave three stuff...anyone able to preorder in store?

 
Grabbed a Cap Falcon pre-order from Wal-Mart. Pre-ordering Amiibo feels more like playing the lottery at this point.

Online pre-order is currently sold out. At this point, the only way to secure her is at the store on release day. Good luck finding her since Target employees get the first dib!

Managed to secure ywt another Pit preorder, since I cant trust having just one, like everybody else. Also preordered Bowser, King Dedede, and grabbed Yoshi to get the free shipping.

I think I have like 15 amiibo on order now. This is fucking crazy.
