gamestop associate told me wave 3 was staggered which would seem to confirm the leaked memo, it would appear stores will sell as them as soon as they get them which is basically worst case scenario for trying to get them

Sonic, Mega Man, and Shulk won't be out until February 19th in Japan, so it may be slightly later for those in America as well.

My only choice when it comes to brick and mortar stores. Except for GameStop which is probably useless. I'll probably just have to do all online orders for anything that's not common

My Walmart has 6. No really 6 Amiibo total. Awful. Walmart missed the boat on this one. My local best buy is also depressing. Toys R Us is the only store that has a good stock, but then its only the common ones.

Target also seems to be well stocked with Amiibo, though all common ones. Of the two Wal Marts I've been to, I think they had 10 total between them (though one was Samus, who is still common though not as much as some of the others).

One day ago, my local TRU had ton of Toon Link and about 7 Bowser. Today, I visited back ... guess what ... ALL GONE !! SOLD OUT !! crazy !!!! who bought those?

 
Question... Is there any reason to NOT buy from one of the foreign amazon sites besides higher price? I guess what I'm asking is do the japanese/European packages make the amiibos worth less or anything? I want to buy a couple duplicates to actually keep in the packaging since I opened some to use.

If you're opening then they're the same. If you're keeping them sealed to make a set then yes, the mismatched packaging will make them less valuable and the foreign versions haven't been as rare so far.

Personally, I want all the same packaging but admittedly I'm kinda picky about those types of things.. It also does seem to matter in terms of value since there are more or less distributed in different regions.

 
All stores around me are drained. I never even saw a singal pit, Captain Falcon, little Mac, or Fox since these things were released. My local Walmart had villager/wft/Marth but have not stocked any wave 2. Only figure I've seen anywhere is Zelda. Another Walmart close by has only mario and peach. Best option is toys r us and I did find a bowser there today. The supply issues on these are kind of silly though, haha

Well... interesting thing I found out today... looks like my store is getting x12 Rosalinas, x4 Sheik, can't remember if it was x4 or x8 of Bowsers/Toon Link. Think it was x8 Bowser & x4 Toon Link. Take it as you will guys. Still says Z-Date 1/30 on the PDA. I would go as far and say that each store will AT LEAST get x12 Rosalinas.

someone on reddit said their store was getting x28 rosalinas and they work at a small store.

12 rosalinas will last like 5 minutes.
