Finally found a Target with Diddy in stock so I put in an order for instore pickup. According to other store websites there isn't a single store in my area with him in stock.

Thanks! I looked for it yesterday and it was oos but i tried again and got one for store pickup.
 
Am I the only one who wouldn't buy Marth, villager, wii fit trainer and Rosalina under normal circumstances? Because they are hard to find my brain says "I must have them!"

That Rosalina pre-order page is just taunting us. I can't stand her as a character in SSB, but I think it's the best looking toy/packaging yet. I want it NOW!
 
Looks like you can ONLY order 10 Rosalina at time on the Target website  :wall:   I don't want to have to enter 10 sseparateorders, does anyone know how I can enter a quantity of 100 for a single order?

Yeah, thought he was getting scarce too, found a TRU (while I was fruitlessly searching for Diddy and LM this weekend) that had at least 20 Fox on their pegs. If they still got some, I could probably snag one or two to help some CAGs out around here. I'll check with them later to see if they're still in stock though.

My Little Mac and Zelda arrived yesterday in a huge box, packaged very nicely. If I cared about the packaging I would be happy, but I just open them anyway. Waiting isn't an issue for me, as long as I get them, so good experience IMO. I have Luigi, Pit and Lucario preordered there as well.

I have a really hard time believing that so many of these Amiibos are going to be that rare. Barring Marth, WFT, and Villager from the first wave, I bet well be seeing a large restock of most of these figures after the holiday pump and dumps end.
 
I think Nintendo may just do waves and then circle back and do them again. Or they will issue say a wave 2.5 restock with whatever is selling.

 
I am debating the amazon. de order. I think x2 of each of the 3 rares comes to like $115 us, if i am reading this right. so a tad over 19 a figure, so like a $5 markup on each compared to ebay.

I sure hope so. I wanted to buy some custom painted amiibos at Magfest, but with so many figures selling out I ended up preordering each amiibo just in case they become hard to find later

is it possible they just stocked extra of what they had in the back? I mean if I were a company like Toysrus i'd assume when ordering these that mario, peach and other well known would sell better then say the rare 3, because there is less risk for them to buy what to most is unknown figures (not ppl here just ur adverage kid/soccer mon/grandparent). This is sort of why i like skylanders better in that each box is each wave is an assortment of each of that wave, thou that also has some downsides too.

FWIW I was looking for Fox at Target and peg was empty. So I asked Target employee to check inventory for me and when he scanned Fox, he showed n/a and was listed as discontinued in Targets system. This is the same for WFT, Marth, and Villager.

Luckily I found Fox at a nearby Gamestop, last one too.

So is this just poor planning on Nintendo's part? I understand the 3 discontinued ones... But seeing mario on amazon for 18 bucks? Diddy kong for 30?

These things have to be back in stock sometime... I can't see all of these being "limited"

And therein lies the conundrum. Nintendo said some will be continually restocked, most likely their big hitters and some will be gone after the initial shipment. I'm sure Mario, DK, Peach, etc will be restocked, It's the other ones that might not.

Speaking of, has anyone actually been able to confirm if Nintendo has been able to send out restocks of ANY of the amiibo? I'm kind of curious about that.
 
Bastards! Placed a Target in-store pick-up order this morning for Diddy, and just got a cancellation notice. Now the site shows them all out of stock around me.
 
I wonder how long Rosalina is going to last? I work most of the day and with my luck it will sell out while there's that moment I can't check my phone. How many are you guys going to try and buy?
