Im taking that one with a huge grain of salt this close to Christmas. That being said, I hope its true, i know a lot of you folks are looking for the big 3 and you all deserve them.

You know what's funny is that I consciously decided to initially stay away from these Amiibos as soon as I heard about them, thinking them to be another craze like Skylanders and Disney Infinity.

Then my friend got me a Samus Amiibo for Christmas and opened a damn can of worms...

What is your source of info for the one Dallas TRU getting Captain Falcon? I'd have to agree with portnoyd, how and why would one random TRU in Texas of all places have gotten this before anywhere else. You were probably given bad info from an uninformed rep.

 
Total success at the NYC Nintendo World Store. Got there about 75 mins after they tweeted. They were still unpacking and loading them behind the counter. Id give a rough guess as to maybe 200 of each. Heard one of the cashiers say they just arrived at the store an hour ago, and the phone was ringing nonstop with people asking if it was true. Line was organized nicely. Nothing to hectic. Most people didnt even want them. The walls had the usual common figures on them. Only the big 3 were behind the counter.

If anyone is hesitating, just go now. They most certainly will not last til tonite !! Good luck everyone !

Two people very close to me (1 family member, 1 close friend) called the store, and the employee(s) on the phone said they got 8 Capt. Falcon in their shipment today, along with a ton of Luigi. I was able to buy Luigi, but Capt. Falcon was long gone. I couldn't get there until almost two hours after I was notified about it.

 
Anyone deal with amazon.de? When should I expect my order? I paid $25 each for rosalina and marth (probably overpaid but better to be safe than sorry)

Man this is cluster. I went to best buy they had diddy little Mac and zeldas out. I was gonna get a new little Mac. Their computer system said its not available for sale yet. The guy who stocked shelves defended himself said the box said 17th the system says 19th. The manager said some stores had deals to sale earlier.

I never personally knew this as I never shopped at Toys R Us often but they actually have a price match policy for print ads and certain websites. Could use this to cut off the "Toys R Us" $1 premium on amiibos no?

Technically yes, but in my experience they will still fight you for it. The only pleasent experience I had PM was at BB, every other retailer has given me shit when trying to PM.
 
Found a few diddy's and one little mac at the Best Buy at the Oak Park location in Overland Park, Kansas. Bought one diddy so get over there quick if there are any local CAGs lurking on this thread.

 
crazy.   Nintendo lost their minds...   BB by where i work only had like 20 on the shelves all wave1.   None of the wave2 chick said (not reliable prolly) all the wave2 were sold out/preordered...

anyway got my zelda so that's cool (part 1 of b2g1).    Best of luck to ya'll out there.

Their site sucks. On multiple occasions I saw something in stock for shipping but couldn't check out. I was able to get a Marth a while back but it's been over 2 weeks since they "shipped" it (and charged me) and the tracking still hasn't updated.

Not sure that's the case, I think it's simply Nintendo World having extra stock.
 
I dont think Nintendo making another run of the big 3 is the case here. The event at Nintendo World today was completely out of the blue and only announced on twitter moments before it happened.

Seems to be they got ahold of a ton of them for an instore quick sale, and thats it. No other retailers were in on this.
