so I just got on the internet a few mins ago after working most of the day and find my Little mac preorder cancelled from Best Buy! I was there yesterday when I picked up diddy and Zelda and saw they had 15 or so in the back for preorders. I asked to get him then but he said come back Friday. I ordered mine early, 11/24, so I hope that if they had to cancel people it was the last preorders and not the early ones. Im gonna go in tomorrow to ask what happened. This has me really worried though because I preordered all my amiibos from Best Buy and used in store pick up on all of them (except meta knight).

Tracking down and getting all the amiibos has really been a nightmare. I really hope next year that there are bigger shipments.

Also, the pre-order system is in place to benefit both parties - the company has a good idea of how much to stock, and the customer doesn't have to worry about finding the item on the shelf. What's the point of pre-ordering if my order can arbitrarily be cancelled at any time?

As far as calling BB, give those people a break. They don't know (or can't disclose) what happened, and they can't solve the problem, either. You're better of lodging a corporate complaint

I have had no luck with Best Buy and Amiibos. I have tried getting some from there, but have been unfortunate. I do have Mega Man pre-ordered through them.

This is what I have been calling about (even posted it on the BB forums in hopes a mod could help, but nothing):

I bought a GCU 2 year membership on 11/14/14. Now, how I got this done is causing me a bunch of grief and is beyond frustrating.

I had pre ordered Bayonetta 2 a long time ago and picked it up. The next week a sale went live that if you bought a game for $39.99 or more you could get a 2 year membership of GCU for $29.99,

I went to Best Buy. The nice lady returned my game under the online pre order number, recharged the game and then rung up the GCU for $29.99. She asked if I wanted it on my account or it was a gift. I replied it was for me. I left there in a good mood.

Fast forward to two weeks later and the purchase is not showing up on my account other than me being charged for it. I contact Best Buy through their customer support number. I talked with someone and they tell me in 5-7 days, I will get an email and this will be taken care of. I called back on the seventh day and was told it was 7-10 days then an email would be sent. I called back on the tenth day (today) and now I am told it is 7-10 business days and then 3-5 buiness days to process this.

Why is this so hard that every person I have talked with can see this but nobody seems to be able to do anything about it? This is beyond frustrating right now.

I purchased another 2 years on 11/21/2014 when I bought LBP3 and it has been processed. My GCU membership was extended two years with an expiration date of Jan. 11, 2018. I am just missing the two year extension from a purcahse I made, have given all the pertinent information and still can;t get anything done in a timely manner

Problem is, if you care about packaging at all, EU Rosalina is totally different. She's named "Harmonie" there instead of Rosalina.

How many different packages are there for Rosalina? US version from Target, European version, Japanese version? Just 3? I'm trying to collect all of it.

Just the three yes. She only has three names. Keep in mind, the figures will be identical. They won't be variant figures, just...her name on the box.

 
I called a Best Buy and they told me specifically that they had 2 Diddy Kong's, a bunch of Zelda, 3 Captain Falcon, and were sold out of Little Mac. I show up and all the employees are clueless and say they don't have any of them. What?

Guess I'm not sleeping early after all. Gonna have to get there for opening to try to scoop a falcon and pit if possible.

Ugh...now I have to wake up early....AGAIN. God damn these Amiibos. Going out of town for the weekend, and I bet the moment I step foot on the plane is when Lucario and Rosalina pop back up, and all the stores stock Falcon and Pit.

 
Just got my TRU preorder of Lucario cancelled like 2 minutes ago. I had preordered it like the day it went up and now it says cancelled because "we were unable to fill your order". 

 
toysrus just cancelled my lucario preorder.. wtf. They are such A holes screw them. I hate them so much

I purchased as soon as it went up for preorder.. and it was up for days after that.

I ordered a Luigi and Pit from TRU with the 2 for 22 yesterday.

Got a confirmation for Luigi a few hours ago.

Nothing on Pit, not cancelled yet either tho.
