Where did Best Buy come up with the 30th as a release date for wave 2?

Is that a proxy date that just stuck, or is that supposed to be the actual street date from Nintendo?
 
So if BB is waiting till the 30th to release wave 2, will the store have any extra "rare" figures for the shelf or does that just depend on the amount of preorders the store had?

Probably a place holder and Nintendo didnt tell them otherwise so it stuck in the computer system

What do you consider extra "rare"?
Pit?
Captain Falcon?
Little Mac?

I think you'll have just as good of a chance to get them as the other wave 2 figs on that day.

I think I'll be at BBY when they open on the 30th.

Saw a few other people say they're from the IE.  I'm in Riverside.  Need the wave 1 trifecta, and Little Mac.  Finally got smart and pre-ordered all of wave 3 two days ago from Gamestop's site.

If anyone still needs Fox, SB walmart had some as of last night.  This morning I picked up Rialto's last one from an on-line order last night.

Or for anyone else, Fry's still has Fox as of right now.

I called the Gamestops in central KY all sold out of Pit, they did say that there was one in Louisville...I'm sorry I can't recall the store. But I would call around.

 
I see what you guys mean about having to call the store to check inventory and place any on hold.

I've been furiously checking the GS app for Pit and CF.

Well, Pit finally popped up at a nearby store. When I called to confirm and place it on hold they said they would only hold it for a few hours. I had to plead my case to get them to keep it over night for me. I hope it's still there in the morning!

Store Policy only allows for a 2 hour hold. If Employee A promises to hold something till tomorrow. Employee A might clock out and Employee B will come in and sell your Pit...

I've had that happen several times... Even within the 2 hour hold period.

I received an email a few days ago saying that it was a mistake and my order was reinstated. My order is also back up in my TRU account.

That's what I'm guessing is gonna happen... maybe not Mario, Peach, etc common but they're probably going to end up like Zelda.

I haven't gone looking but I've been watching the store tracker for Target and GS's website for DFW. Pit is the one I'm looking for to

I used a gift card and PayPal, so supposedly they are to contact me with instructions. Haven't heard anything yet and I'm worried about my Pit order.

NO worries bud. We already know what they're going to look like based on their in-game trophies, its just a matter of when each one is coming out. I wouldn't be too upset if that was the starting line-up for wave4 though. Gonna get'em all anyway, so just a matter of time ;)

According to GameStop website, Davis Towne Crossing in NRH and Watauga Town Crossing locations have them. Might call to confirm. Also, if they have 2, mind grabbing me one if you go? I've got a Little Mac or Diddy for trade if so.

 
If people in the Atlanta area are looking, The Avenue Peachtree in Peachtree City Gamestop is showing it in stock, not "Low stock."  That should mean more than a few.  

 
in the denver area i see 8 stores that show low stock on pit i called and they only have enough for preorders only

Don't worry, I'm sure they are fully aware and enjoying a very merry Christmas.

The potential of these is insane. Others have pointed out the huge Pokemon potential. I think it would be too good of an idea to pass up, however I'm trying to collect all of these. I don't exactly want a pokemon figure collection xD.

 
If anyone wants Falcon I have 3 coming in the mail. All I want is Mac, Sonic, and Mega Man. I know the last two aren't out, but if someone wants to preorder them to trade that'd be perfect for me.
