Received my Mac from best buy today. It's my first amiibo with creases in the cardboard. What were they thinking......I would actually open it and use it? Pfffft crazy best buy:)
 
i feel like if I were opening all these then I wouldn't care as much about finding pit, falcon and little Mac.

I'm sure no one needs it anymore, but I have an extra Diddy kong for trade.
 
Just received shipping confirmation for my two little macs from Walmart...supposedly they will arrive January 2nd. Willing to trade one for a wii fit trainer if anyone is willing or maybe Lucario? Considering TRU cancelled my preorder.

The last 6 amiibos I've received from best buy have been shipped in excellently packed little boxes.

However villager was in a bubble mailer and miraculously arrived fine, but marth was boxed and arrived in piss poor condition.

I am not a fan of the regular Link either. I pre ordered Cartoon Link though.

I went into gamestop hoping for the same situation. The manager knows me so I thought maybe if I preordered some of the wave 3 and then asked for a pitt or falcon they'd be nice and give me one. Instead I get a seasonal worker who barely knows what an amiibo is, and when I ask if they have a pitt she just shrugs and points at the wall.

each store gets a certain supply it is up to the store if they want to sell them as preorders or on release day. Target probably got the least amount of supply. I also guarantee you that bestbuy/toysrus will have slim to none in stores on release day, while target will probably have a bunch. I also highly suspect that toysrus sold more than they will get.

If you're opening them you can still pretty easily get a full collection, the ones you can't find just import since the figures themselves are identical, only the packaging is different.

Already did my business there and pre-ordered Ike and Mega Man yesterday (as Ike may end up being another one that will be hard to find, while Mega Man is pretty much a "must get" for an old-school gamer like me).

 
Seeing those custom paint jobs makes me want to pick up an extra princess and mario and try to make a daisy one and an ice flower mario...

I'm not nearly as crazy as most of you, though. I'm just getting the few I actually want. Like the Zelda's. The Kirby's and the FE's. Maybe Charizard or something too I dunno.

I feel you , I also was trying to fight the bug. I don't think I'm getting all either bc I already missed out on villager and Marth which I'm not paying crazy $ for.

So far have Link, Zelda, little Mac , and diddy

I think that website gave me some mild eye cancer. But good for those who need it.

On some good news, my Marth that I ordered weeks ago from yesasia.com is at the local USPS building! Wave 1 will be done, and everything else I don't have is on pre/order. Things are looking up... maybe.

 
That would be awesome if there were a defective Villager Amiibo exactly like that which showed up on eBay. I wonder how much he would fetch? LOL :rofl:

I chose the 990¥ option. I can't remember the exact name but the e-mail receipt I got says "Eco - SAL registered." It did say it would take 2-3 weeks to arrive but I don't mind. As long as I get him eventually for a decent price, that's all I want.

Yeah that is the one I picked. It came out to $20.30 after conversion. It is also sold out. FYI.

 
Hhmm...I think it just hit me that I don't want to collect these anymore.  I'll pick up the players I like, but I don't want them all anymore.  I wish I had realized that before buying every single one.  I guess I'll look around at selling my complete set down the road.

 
Well anyone feel like a brief change of topic? I picked up a high capacity battery off Nintendo's online store. That was such a great purchase. Battery lasts like 8-10 hours. If you can spare some cash from the amiibo collecting buy this item CAGs.

 
Jumped on a Captain Falcon from the GameStop site, just in case my order from BBY has issues. I checked in at 3 different GameStop locations today that showed they had Pit in-stock, but it was all for pre-orders. :( Sadness.

Just missing Villager and Pit, now, as well as a Lucario pre-order & Rosalina pre-order.
