Darn you GameStop.com. They have Pit in stock but gets removed from checking out. At least I got an extra Little Mac for someone.

 
So stoked to finally get Little Mac. Bummer that Pit is OOS but hopefully he comes around again. I'm not collecting all of them by any means. Just want the figures that meant the most to me as a kid. Punch-Out was one of my fav games of all time.
 
Pit shows up until you try to put it in the cart. I've watched this thread off and on but not at the right time.

Has anyone seen Pit at Target? I haven't seen him in store or on the stock checker.

Tried to get a second Pit because I dont trust my best buy one on order. Like everyone else, GS kicked it out of my cart. I guess thats what happens when you put the phone down to spend some time with family. Ah well, they will likely reappear. Merry Christmas everyone!

I've seen Pit at four different online retailers so I would just stay on top of it... it seems like they're slowly trickling to retailers, or at the very lease, retailers are getting solid numbers for how many units they can expect.

I drove around for like 1 hour one day trying to find these and gave up. Since then, I've been able to sang all off them online, one way or another. Well, all expect Marth.

 
Did toys r us reorder. It was just in time for my fatwallet PayPal cash back. My GameStop.com pit order shipped too. I am set to own at least one of each some 2
 
Damnit. Missed out on Pit. That's what I get for spending time with my family. Oh, well. He will show up again for sure. Counting on going to Best Buy on the 30th at opening to snag him.
 
So I've paid almost no attention to the Amiibos whatsoever. However, I did get some orders in at Best Buy when they had the B2G1 sale. I had preordered Pit, Captain Falcon, and Little Mac.

The other day I got Little Mac in the mail and now looking at my order online I see that the other two are "not available" (despite me preordering).

Of course they charged me the full price for the Little Mac and then aren't sending me the "free" one in the B2G1. Are those really out of print now and thus I got trolled by Best Buy?

And seriously, Nintendo, WTF!? Why are these so hard to find and having this huge resale issue? They are pretty much useless (at least in game) as far as I can tell... I guess this is just a case of everyone buying them to resell so they are OOS and that drives the price up. Kinda like Skylanders the year they came out - with the exception that you could actually do stuff with those in games.

(And yes, I have used them. I bought a Marth in fact and we used it in SSB. It levels up and then what? I wish I had kept it sealed now instead ;)).

Because people can't stop buying this things like crazy including the resellers that have tons of them. If nintendo give more figures and they become common all those idiots with more than 1 figure will return them once they lost their high value and boy, those will be a ton of returns.

Ugh almost $18 after ship and tax at gamestop.. I'll just wait until they go in stock more widely at retail.
 
glad to pay $17 for Little Mac! I was either going to have to choose between $35+ via eBay or Trading a Wii Fit Trainer and pay probably $4-5 on top of the $12.99 to ship it. Now all I need are Pit and Marth(I don't think I am going to be getting a marth though :cry: )

 
Ordered a Little Mac. Was sad to see that Gamestop coupon from Kongregate is in store only though. Looking forward to having my order cancelled or finding it in store sometime soon.

I'd like to think Target was smart enough not to allocate their entire stock into pre-orders. Especially given that they mast likely haven't even been manufactured yet. I'd like to think they put up very small amount to test the market before they order their allotment from the manufacturer. I'd like to think all of that but these Amiibo's have been one difficult product to figure out since they were announced. And they way retailers have been releasing them is totally screwed :whistle2:/
