To TRU amiibos are a segment of a toy market that likely didn't make a drop on their revenues this holiday because they mostly stocked the most common ones, which is probably why they don't care. That would be great as pit was the one figure my daughter really wanted the most. I will be checking a few gamestops today but if i come up empty as expected ill def pm you tonight. Or i can trade a little mac or diddy if you like cuz she doesnt care about those guys but you prob have them already

This isnt Gamestop's fault, its Nintendo. Why wouldnt they make enough to meet demand? I dont care either way. I have my Shulk preordered

we will only be getting enough amiibo to exactly match the number of pre-orders—no more, no less. The idea is to keep the figure rare, increasing its market value and driving up demand. Then, several months later, we will receive a second shipment to sell as “used” for a marked-up price.

So Gamestop will have more then just the pre-orders but they are going to hold on to there 2nd shipment for awhile and sell them at a inflated used price instead of selling the 2nd shipment when they get them. So It is Gamestop Fault not Nintendo in regards to the gamestop exclusive amiibo

They can deny their business to anyone. The difference is that they already accepted my business and I am trying to return something with a valid receipt. The receipt has the return policy on it. I pulled a BB receipt up and it has the return policy on it. They can't deny a return if the rules on that receipt are followed.

I had a manager at BB tell me they changed a policy on an item I purchased. She got a "one sided discussion" and I got what I wanted.

After getting Sheik in wave 3, the only other Amiibo for existing characters I plan to preorder and buy are Ganondorf, Dark Pit, Duck Hunt, and Ness. Hopefully those are all in Wave 4 but I doubt it.

If Mewtwo gets one I'd preorder and buy that one too. I'm up in the air regarding Palutena and/or ZS Samus.

 
I have an extra Pit on the way. Someone backed out of a trade after his wife found one for him. All I'm really interested in is Wii Fit Trainer, though. PM if interested.
 
We clearly need more Fire Emblem characters.

Volk, Oscar, Severa, Lon'qu, Rolf, Micha, Soren.

I will buy all of them.

So far, I've only bought Ike. Don't plan to get more.

I do, however, find the topic, discussion fascinating. =D
