I had a Fox backordered two weeks ago that just shipped three days ago so that's not always the case. I also think Fox is getting a re-stock he seems to be popping up again all over the place. He was on bestbuy.com almost all day yesterday.

I've just randomly grabbed doubles or triples at times of these things, probably a good time to just stop that and declutter a bit.

fox backordered from frys? Frys has a horrible system and frequently cancels backorders and over sells.

 
If you want a fox PM me, managed to snag 2 so can sell 1. It's gonna cost around $18-20 though ($15ish the cost of the item + $3ish shipping)

 
I called another local Toysrus this noon, they said out of stock for Captain .. They did have about 20 of them in the morning but all SOLD out quickly !!!!! They were shock too !!!

The one on east riverside is hit and miss, have they restocked well? It was demolished during the holidays, I never found pre order cards for the next wave at either store.

The store that seems to always get stocked well is the Redlands store. The Tyler store is a Mecca for resellers, you need to beat them out first.

I repeat , both of you stay out of my stores!

looks like they changed all amiibos to limit of 1 per customer. I think they're getting prepared for wave 4 to be put up maybe. I want to buy it but $17 shipping for 1 item is expensive.. if there was only something else I wanted there it would make me more willing to buy

 
For anyone looking for Little mac and pit, this doesn't seem too terrible (accounting for what they sell for)?  Each amiibo comes out to $23 (4 amiibos, diddy, zelda, mac and pit) 
(actually went ahead and deleted the link, forgot about the "do not post trades" thing and I'd imagine that counts for sales too?)

You've quoted me both times, I'm only one person. The one in east Riverside doesn't restock all that great, but there's also never anyone there at open. Anytime I've needed something I just wander over about 5 minutes before open, wait at the door, and it's there. You're right about the Tyler store though.

And I also never found any pre-order cards.

 
^ Stalk amiami when they come out, if you don't mind Japanese ones.  If you wanted american ones, I'd use pagemonitor on gamestop.com and bestbuy.com on their release days.  I think I heard Shulk was only gonna be pre-order only?  You can try to show up at Gamestop and ask an employee if anyone cancelled their pre-order or show up on the 3rd day (they hold orders for 48 hours) to see if anyone's pre-order expired.

Shulk is a Gamestop exclusive in the US. They've been sold out for a while. Your best bet is to show up on release day to see if they got any extras for sale. That or grab one from another region.

Got my Marth that I ordered from Amazon France on December 22nd.  Slightly bent sword, but otherwise everything worked out OK.  

Still waiting on Villager from them.  Hopefully that goes through eventually as well.

Except diddy and zelda are still available around for $13. So really you're paying $33 for pit and mac each. PLUS pit is now less rare so you're over paying for a little mac. Not a good deal... like at all.

True but I figured if anyone wanted all 4 it wouldn't be that bad, just saw Mac going for like $35-$40 and I thought Pit still went for that much, but I guess it's negated by Diddy and Zelda, oh well, just wanted to help some amiibo hunters out, but you and that other guy are making me regret posting it. :-({|= Especially if Pit is starting to get restocked (not because you guys are wrong but I didn't realize posting that would get these kinds of reactions and I at the time assumed whoever bought that would be getting an alright deal, so I apologize)

Pit and LM easily go for around that price on ebay still though. Pit maybe less so after the TRU releases but you're not losing more than $5-6 on this deal

yup. same thing happened to me. I was at bestbuy today just looking at games and the manager walks up to me and asks me if I want one. I say yes ofcourse and he said they just got a box in. He had 2 left and gave me one, but made me promise I wasn't a scalper and I wouldn't sell it on ebay before he gave it to me. I bet most bestbuys got shipments.

What are the Gamecube adapters used for?

Just using an old controller on old games?  Or can it be used on new games or even Wii games (Super Mario Galaxy 2 for example)?

They are specifically for using GameCube controllers with Super Smash Bros on Wii U. Unofficially I believe they can be used in the Wii U's regular Wii mode for other games using a soft-mod, but I could be wrong.
 
Is the freaking out about Fox still a joke, or has he actually become rare during my amiibo vacation? cause the best buy near me has seven of him...
