Local Toys R Us in hazlet NJ had nothing but Wave1/2 commons at open this morning.

Shelves were stacked too so it didn't seem like they would be adding more anytime soon.

I also plan on checking the Central Target & Meijer - Meijer at least had Zelda and Diddy a day or two ahead of the wave 2 delivery dates. Fingers crossed for a Rosalina...

 
Just picked up my TRU preorders of Sheik, Toon Link, and Bowser.  Sheik sold out after the first two customers in line.  Thankfully, the employees there pulled the preorders first.  Lucario was in, but they couldn't sell him until 1/30.  The cashier told me their store has over 30 pre-orders for Lucario!  Thank goodness I also have him ordered online, just in case.

 
Called up the May's Landing TRU last night to ask, said they didn't get in any yesterday and to check in the morning. Did this morning and they said they didn't get any. Just weird that the other localish TRUs already got theirs, apparently. Oh well, I'll keep trying for this Lucario.

 
Got a Toon Link, Bowser and Sheik at TRU. they have Lucario but can't sell them yet, and they didn't get the others in yet.
 
I haven't kept up on every page in this thread but have actual sales numbers been released yet for any of the figures?  It seems like there is a remarkably huge difference between the commons and the rares that were produced.  I mean the commons are ultra common, literally languishing on the shelves of retailers everywhere, but the rares are on the opposite side of the spectrum, literally selling out the first minute they get put on the shelves.  It kind of makes you wonder what the heck Nintendo is thinking.  All those lost sales by not producing just a slight increase in the amount of the rares.

 
My friend just got back from TRU.  He picked up Toon, Bowser, and Sheik - mentioned there were a few others there picking up Amiibos as well right at opening.  The TRU salesman said they are going to put Lucario out on the 28th.

 
Just went to my toys r us in port richey and they had a bunch of bowser / toon links. Only had 4 sheiks from shipment, 2 when I arrived and I only grabbed 1. They got in 35 lucario but wont sell until the 29th / 30th they said. Not sure why they gave me two dates.

Also, some guy I guess tried to buy all 35 of the lucario when they opened according to the worker. Luckily the system wouldn't let him but I hope it wasn't someone on here.

 
My store said the 30th also. He nearly overrode and got shot down. Said not to worry since all of the stock was preorder only and he had it on lockdown

Thats my local store as well. I was gonna pass by around 6pm yesterday, but decided against it.
 
I haven't gotten a TRU email about Lucario yet. I'm not too worried as I have him preordered for shipping as well, but I'd rather just pick him up if possible. I remember entering my email to get updates on the terminal machine.
 
How long does TRU hold pre-orders for? Sounds like most/all stores only got stock for pre-orders, so it might be pointless to go out hunting next Friday anyway.

I LOVE this thread! Just went in TRU in Clarksville, IN and they had Shiek, Bowser, and Toon Link. They had probably over 50 each of Bowser and Took link but only 2 Shieks left after I got one.

This happened to me wave 1 at Wal-Mart.
I had to show them pictures on my phone and say "they're like skylanders" and even that did little to educate them.

The girl I spoke w at tru today was exceptionally nice and I explained why these are so hot and how insane we are to get them.

I'm just glad I needed gas, cause otherwise I'd have not doubled back.

Nice to see a fellow hunter. I perfer the TRU in Columbia, but thats farther from me. The lady there last night was really cool, I recognized her from when I preordered Ruby/Sapphire and she offered to hold them when i called. Only ones I'm still worried about getting are Rosalina and now Sonic since Wal Mart cancelled my preorder. I'd rather find them when I can, then I can always cancel preorders.
 
I just called the TRU in Naperville, IL and they said they have Bowser and Toon Link.  I may go return the extra Pit I have for one of those.  I was shopping it around, but I don't really have the time to sell / package / ship to someone else.

Lol but seriously, I expect nothing when I go hunting now. The store employees are always very nice about it but they also remind me of all the scalpers, not that you are one just saying in general, around this area (not the Deptford area specifically, but it is the place I hit every now and then like last night). *le sigh* I knew I should have gone to the other toys r us instead. ><
