Rare has been used and abused in game collecting for nearly 20 years. So very little in game collecting is truly rare and not a single amiibo qualifies. Rare is used by idiot sellers to hype their auctions when they try and sell their beat up copy of Smb 3 for 3x the price. The biggest problem with collectors using rare is they confuse rare with value. Value is the way one should determine which amiibo is most in demand.

People are already waiting at Target? Yep, it's not going to be a good day.

I get the feeling that 6 a.m. Will be when a decent chunk of people will get up and head out. 7 a.m. may be a safe time to arrive.
 
I got an email from TRU saying that my Lucario order is processing. What's interesting is that the price is $13.99 instead of the $10.99 discounted price from using the promo code sent out in December.
 
Those that start getting in line, please update with the location, number of people and whether tickets are being handed or not.

Willing to work together with fellow local CAGs around Nassau County to get at least one. Thinking about the Levittown, Hicksville and Westbury ones.

I'll keep people updated on my end.

My area has about 4 Targets but my favorite will get lines and this one has none.

However, my wife was first at TRU one hour beforehand for Lucario (line got decently big). We only have 2 TRU's in the same area. All that to say that 6:30 to 7 a.m. may end up being safe if you find yourself in a similar store count situation.
 
I woke up at 4 am and couldn't get back to sleep, so why not just get down there? Arrived just before 6, first one here, aside from employees.

Employees will start getting there at 6am to put up the new ad. Dont know if super targets go even earlier. So hopefully being noticed will work to your advantage.
 
Wait, where are Amiibos kept? In toys or electronics with the Wii U and stuff? Last time I was in Target was in like Dec when I didn't really know about this.
 
Made it to my Target at 6:15EST. I am the first one here so I'll stay in my car till someone else arrives. Now to kill an hour or so...
 
I'm on line at my target. 2 tents. I asked them how long they have been waiting. They said about 2 hours. I think they are together. They told me to not bother waiting and there won't be enough left. I think they plan on buying them all and reselling. Hopefully I can talk some sense into the employees there and can do it fast enough.

That's insane. I would just tell the manager, I doubt they'd let that happen to you. Manager at my Target said that if there is a line, a 1 per customer limit would be imposed.
 
I was planning on using brickseek this AM to see which Target I should be going to, but I guess that's a bust! Looks like I'll just have to wing it. All I want is one, so I hope I don't run into any of the type of scalpers that are all gloating about being there to buy up all the stock.
