Finally found Sheik at Best Buy yesterday. They had 3 more after the Mrs. grabbed one. We also got Bowser and  4 Toon Links in the same store! Definitely lucky to find'em all in one place....Now to get some blue,red, & purple paint...

 
Ugh, I ordered Toon Link at GoHastings.com and it got cancelled. What really angers me is the day after I ordered I strolled into my local Hastings and saw a Toon Link but did not grab it because I assumed one was on my way. Sigh. :(

Oh well Shiek didn't get cancelled, so that's good. But ugh, Toon Link is one of my favs. :(

I'm getting bit by the amiibo bug a little. Went to TRU for the 2 for $20 offer (it works, btw), and decided to get two Zelda series figures since they'll probably be used in the Zelda U later this year. Was going to get Link and Zelda. They didn't have Toon Link, but did have Sheik. I don't really care about Sheik, but due to the off chance that Sheik may give something special in Zelda U and the reports of it being a rarer one, got it instead of Zelda. :lol

My guess is that Shiek won't be a rare, but won't be in the common category either. I think she (he depending on how you want to look at it) will fall in the same category as Captain Falcon and Fox.

 
Stopped in my TRU this morning and nothing but commons from wave 1&2 and Bowser. So, I finished my grocery shopping and go home to find my shipment from TRU for Shiek and Lucario. Happy the order went through finally (canceled, reinstated,etc), but now I have 2 extra Lucario for trade.
 
Just picked up an extra sheik and samus at TRU (meadows - Las Vegas) with the 2 for 20. Still 1 sheik left there and plenty of wave 1 & 2 commons (and bowser).

Maybe a step up from that, cap and fox are hardly ever in store. Still pretty early to tell though.
 
My Toon Link and Sheik order from GoHastings says In Progress, so hopefully that means they're on the way.   I've yet to get any shipping confirmation though....

 
I really would recommend not trying to speculate on rarity and purchasing more than you are going to personally use. You may think you're different from the scalpers but at the end of the day you are helping them by limiting supply and most people will purchase on ebay as a last resort. Part of the reason why shit's so whack right now is probably because people are starting to purchase a lot more than they actually need and are holding onto them.

Every order in my order history from them says in progress. Doesn't mean anything. I have orders from years past that still say in progress.

I don't think anyone here ever witnessed 20+ Captain Falcon's on a shelf. Sheik is definitely a Diddy Kong repeat.

Exactly , i think more people are causing more harm than good buying these "extra for trades" im neutral on the scalper debate i mean its not my call to tell a person what they can or can't do with their money but some people here seem to be taking the moral high-ground thinking that buying extras isn't as bad a scalping when it is.I mean i had the capabilities of buying multiple Rosalinas but didn't as the amiibos i really need could be had through other methods , had i bought multiple a person who really wanted rosalina wouldn't be able to purchase her without paying asinine prices on ebay.

If your gonna scalp or buy extras i have no personal issues with it but at least admit what you are doing.

 
Both my eBay and TRU website orders for a single Lucario just arrived. Both in boxes way too big for it and surprisingly the one with the larger box and seemingly less cushioning is in better condition. Am I allowed to return an eBay order to a store and repurchase it? I would like to do the TRU's Rewards R' Us promotion on my two Lucarios.

 
Local Toys R Us is limiting Sheik to one per group.

Yeah, not per person, per group. As in if you come in with someone else they can't buy a Sheik too.

Does anyone get any amiibo online from Frys? I got a Megaman and Ike order in on 1/31 and it just shows them as "Back Ordered". Haven't had any emails from them regarding anything.

 
noticed at Walmart today that they have pegs for toon link mega man and sonic,but there was not a single amiibo figure on any pegs. No marios,peaches or any of the other common ones

My Frys order, says estimated delivery on 2/24 for Ike,King and Mm. The Sonic I ordered from there, says I should get it on the thirteenth.

 
Ok. Thought you guys might like to know, even if I feel I should covet this info. I just left a Meijer in MI and they had price labels on the shelf for Mega man, Sonic, King DeDeDe and Ike. I asked and they said they dont know if they were stocked yet, odds are they're getting ready too.. Just thought I'd share.

Also they had 4 Sheik at a TRU I stopped at. I didn't get any because I just don't care for Sheik. Haven't actually bought any yet I just want Mega Man, meta knight, and Ike.. I'd say Shulk but I'm probably SOL on that one.
