There aren't any decent Android game sales on Google Play this weekend, so I will just use this post to remind everyone who owns an Ouya, a Mad Catz M.O.J.O., or a Razer Forge TV that the Ouya store will go offline on Tuesday, June 25th.
As much as people like to disparage the Ouya and call it a failure, I think that it was a decent product for its day if you didn't go in expecting too much. Many of its games were coded by bedroom coders, so losing the store is like losing Xbox Live Indie Games in that many of those games will probably never be published again.
It is difficult to add a credit or debit card to an existing Ouya account at this point, but if you give a damn at all about the system or just have one collecting dust, there are still free games that are available. Some of them do have in-app purchases so the games will only let you play one or two stages before going back to the title screen. Also, it is possible that a game might not work after the store goes down if it requires Ouya store authentication to start. But there are games that are completely free that do work on modern Android devices if side-loaded.
Anyway, here is a list of some of the free games on the Ouya store that remain as of today (don't wait until the last minute if you want them!). You might have to type the game name directly into the search engine on the Ouya store.
