 Anime Steals and Deals

**It is highly recommended you check the latest posts in this thread as they will often have the most up to date deals. I will attempt to reflect these sales in the OP, but always check the latest posts.**

Rightstuf

Rightstuf runs studio sales every week, sometimes even twice a week. These range from anime, manga, and even artbooks. Prices are decent, and Rightstuf has amazing customer service. I highly recommend them for that alone.

You can save an additional 10% off a majority of their items (Including preorders) by buying their Got Anime membership

Amazon

Amazon tends to offer lower everyday prices on their anime, and often run sales on Funimation items routinely. Keep track on your favorites or check your daily deal's for a possible 5% off of some based off your history on Amazon.

(Also, I'd also recommend to check out Amazon's top 100 deals in Anime Bluray/DVD as they tend to show what's popular, or what is on sale.)

DVDPlanet / Deep Discount

Known by many for their bad customer service, they often make up for it with their lower prices on a lot of their items. This and they routinely run sales specifically for anime.

I highly suggest when you order from them to only order in stock items, and not ones that are backordered. Save yourself the displeasure of having to deal with the headaches. And patience is a must with these sites.

Cheapassgamer

Maybe you will find something here on our own forums! We have a thread dedicated specifically to Anime and Manga for sale from fellow Cags.

Bought a new shelf earlier this month. It's missing the DVDs and the NISA Sets

Yeah I need to grab a few shelves myself as I'm starting to fill up what I have pretty quickly. Also just wondering but what do site(s) do you guys use to keep track of upcoming anime releases for Blu's and LE's?

Fry's order has yet to ship, anyone experience this yet? Do they email you asking if you still want it?
Same issue for me on both my orders (placed Dec 12 & Jan 2). Everything is still backordered. They asked me if i wanted to keep my Dec 12 order, so I'm expecting them to ask me the same about my Jan 2 order in a few weeks.

You should start getting them at Walmart when it comes back in stock since they're usually $30 on rollback, and $40 regularly.

I always pick mine up during rollback. ^__^
Is this specific model available at Walmart or is it a similar model? I haven't been able to find one on Walmart.com

It's the exact same one.

It's currently out of stock though, so as Walmart does with most of their out of stock listings it gets deactivated temporarily.

There's a shelving discussion thread with some good info if you want more info about shelves in general if you're in the market.

thanks. Yeah I read through the shelving discussion thread even considered building my own but I'm too lazy and I never shop at Walmart.com so I was unsure about the listing. I'll keep an eye out for them to come back in stock. All I have currently is some old media shelves from Walmart that hold maybe 80 bluray sized cases each.

On the shelving discussion...now that I've started collecting Anime, I'm happy my mom actually works at Sauders. 50% off all items there is lovely. Got a $300 desk for $150 6 months ago, haven't needed another shelf yet, but my current bookcase is close to out of room.

Hard to find anything worth buying , I ended up purchasing love lab Blu hopefully quality is good
I was wondering who got this. I had it on my list and then about an hour later it was gone haha. And I had it already but it caught my eye that it had gone. Is this a blind buy for you? I enjoyed it and I thought the PQ was pretty good.
