Amazon 

Amazon tends to offer lower everyday prices on their anime, and often run sales on Funimation items routinely. Keep track on your favorites or check your daily deal's for a possible 5% off of some based off your history on Amazon. 

(Also, I'd also recommend to check out Amazon's top 100 deals in Anime Bluray/DVD as they tend to show what's popular, or what is on sale.)

Known by many for their bad customer service, they often make up for it with their lower prices on a lot of their items. This and they routinely run sales specifically for anime.

I highly suggest when you order from them to only order in stock items, and not ones that are backordered. Save yourself the displeasure of having to deal with the headaches. And patience is a must with these sites.

So, I contacted GKids asking them if they could send me a slipcover for my copy of Princess Kaguya, and they said they would be happy to send me one for free.  Anyway, they sent me two accidentally, so does anyone need one?  PM me if you need one

After filing Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in June, Hastings Entertainment will close all of its stores by October 31, 2016.

According to court documents, bidding on the company ended July 20 in a Delaware bankruptcy court.

Two financial companies bought Hastings Entertainment in a joint venture to oversee the liquidation of all stores.

Court documents show that the stores will be liquidated using a "store closing," "sale on everything," "going out of business" sale.

The stores may close at any time after they have given employees a seven-day notice.

Gundam Build Fighters is the most popular of all the recent gundam series. Reconguista got alot of mixed reactions in japan an so did blood orphans. Build fighters season 1 was such a good series and very refreshing new take on the series that people wanted a season 2 very badly. I mean what's not to like seeing your gunpla you own or want to own, on tv battling it out like pokemon? Build fighters try wasn't so great in the beginning but it got better as it went along.

Au Contraire. The ending of Try was far too rushed. Felt it had more potential in the middle. The show had some good moments(mainly Fumina). But it fell flat on everything else. Couldn't live up to the Build Fighter hype. Build Fighters is by far my favorite non-universal century Gundam. It's how tournament style shows should be.

Kind of funny how that 'loot crate' only went on for three months. Still grateful for the free Otakon badge I got from them though. 

 
I rather have a continuation of Season 1 for Build Fighters than Try. I wanted to see more of Sei's adventures and Reiji's return. 

Try did give me my favorite Gunpla, Transient Gundam.

Kirin always pops in intermittently...unless someone talking smack about Utena (or talking about Utena in general), then the appearance will be instant. :D

I've actually been watching Utena on Vudu (introducing my wife to it), and I had thought the dub was bad, but it's pretty decent.  I think it sounds a lot better because Nozomi cleaned up the sound a lot.  Rachel Lillis as always does an admirable performance.

This made me envision someone using a summoning scroll from Naruto, but they just write "Utena" and poof! Kirin would appear!

Hurrrrgh, I hate that dub so much, but Rachael did a wonderful job as Utena. Sadly, almost everyone else is grossly miscast. It improves slightly from the second arc onwards (the first 13 episodes were licensed and released in America many years before the rest of it), but man... Utena deserves so much better than it got, because the Japanese cast was top-notch. Can't friggin' wait for those Blu-rays.

Not anime, but Funimation just got the license for Godzilla Resurgence. Hoping we'll see a wider theatrical release of this, as opposed to Funi's typically limited ones.

I got excited for a second and thought it was going to be the original OVA series and not Decode, but no such luck. Still an insanely great price though--I'd jump on it had I not already bought the complete series a few years back.

It was first used as a joke in a video about the best anime boobs, then 4chan started calling it the best anime ever (and raided GameFAQs to make the DS game the most wanted FAQ) and it took off ever since.
