Amazon tends to offer lower everyday prices on their anime, and often run sales on Funimation items routinely. Keep track on your favorites or check your daily deal's for a possible 5% off of some based off your history on Amazon.

Known by many for their bad customer service, they often make up for it with their lower prices on a lot of their items. This and they routinely run sales specifically for anime.

Keep in mind they are releasing blu ray sets for Turn A next year for those who might be tempted.

I recommend the entire FMP series and the prices on this sale are pretty good.

Also a good time to pick up ranma for pretty cheap. And Ranma 1/2 Set 6 Special Edition Blu-ray for those who haven't completed the SE collection yet. They are releasing the OVA's and movies next year!

I also recommend Lain. It's a classic worth far more than that price.

Still not really much I either don't already or don't want.

Oh man, I for one am loving RWBY, it's better than almost any anime series I've seen - it has been tremendously deep and very well thought-out in it's story telling. I own the two gorgeous Japanese Limited Edition releases for Volumes 1 & 2 (Volume 3 comes out in just a few weeks, and how much do you want to bet the obi will be black on that one, and yellow on Volume 4?!). And truthfully, I much prefer the Japanese dub tracks with subtitles on those releases, over the original English - even it it is not really anime, it actually sounds better in Japanese - just like real anime does... :bow:

The rest of the Sentai sale is up. They added a bunch of things I was hoping for (Golden Time part 2, Shirobako, Sabagebu) so I'm pretty happy.

The premium boxsets are back on sale again, but they're about $6 more than they were earlier in the week.

Up to ~260 In my sentai cart about 200 over what I'm willing to spend probably will end up purchasing nothing more than likely which is sad :/ just don't have the money this year at the moment

Sentai wins this year! Picked up every premium edition I don't own and some classics like K-ON and Angel Beats (already have Clannad). Would buy more but most of their shows are subs only and cost $21 for 12-13 episodes, which is too much for a standard edition IMO.

This sale will significantly reduce my Rightstuf spending this year. Will probably just buy all NIS premium editions I don't own and Time of Eve.

 
There is a lot I want to get, but I'm going to limit myself.  I'm wanting to pick up the Escaflowne collector's edition and mobile suit gundam collection 2.  I got gundam collection 1 last year, so I'll get collection 2 this year.  $37 is more than I want to spend, but gundam stuff doesn't seem to go on sale that much.  Escaflowne is a lot more than I like spending, but it is one of my favorites.  I'm just wondering what's the best place to buy the European set that comes with the soundtrack?

I am also tempted to pick up infinite stratos.

By the way, do any of the major anime streaming sites do any subscription deals on black friday or cyber monday?

Sentaifilmworks really knocked it out of the park this year. I have over $400 worth of titles sitting in my cart. Plus an earlier order of Sentaifilmworks.com and even a couple Sentaifilmworks titles from rightstuf. Who would have thought that Sentaifilmworks would have that many awesome shows.

I never realized how many anime series I like that Sentaifilmworks distributes. It's pretty amazing that Sentaifilmworks has so many of the ones I have an interest in buying. With the sale Sentaifilmworks I've spent far more now than I did in like the past two years on anime. Good job Sentaifilmworks.com, you've taken all my money. Such an amazing sale and I only have Sentaifilmworks to thank.

 
Dropped a little under $300 on the Sentai BF sale so far, with 13 Blu-rays - Collections 2-8 of Space Brothers, 3 Hakuoki Blu-rays (2 movies and Collection 3), the two Clannad seasons, and Celestial Method.

I was hoping to get the Space Brothers Blu-rays for under $30 each during the RS Holiday Sale, but $20.99 from Sentai is an even better steal...

i overpaid on akame ga kill :( had no idea they were that much more expensive than the sentai sale.

 
Letter Bee, Akame ga Kill (cheapo version), Chunibyo, SNAFU S1, and Captain Planet (Earth). Decent prices, though Akame is a bit pricey. Passed on Parasyte in hopes it gets cheaper later on.

 
Yeah, I usually just wait about half an hour after because it usually takes them awhile to put the full list up.

Sometimes only part of the list goes up at 12am CST, so it's better to wait until it's all up before you compile the list.

So thats actually a pretty attractive price for kill la kill... If you can stomach the aniplex level pricing. Looks like rightstuf isnt gonna match sentai even with a membership.
 
Wow, $200 for the entire Kill la Kill... Very tempting but I'm going to have an internal debate whether I liked the show enough...

I feel you. I went into this show loving every minute of it for the first eh five episodes or so, and then I felt like it got completely stale in a hurry. This was one of those rare shows were it felt like a chore to finish. I'm pretty torn on how I feel about the series. Such a great premise and start, but then the show just dragged.

I would've preferred if it was a 12 episode show. GF loves it nonetheless though.

personally I would rather just spend around $80 on amazon.co.uk and get them that way as well as a EU region blu ray player for like $60 >.>

Yeah, I think I won't buy it simply because I felt the same way. (That and $200 is a lot to fork over for a series that I may not watch years down the line.) While I didn't find it that much of a chore to finish, the show felt like it changed too drastically once those naked army dudes got involved and helped Ryuko. I just skimmed through a few episodes and forgot how lame I thought it was that they were fighting clothing of all things at one point. I'll save my money for my inevitable yet foolish purchase of the OOP Gurren Lagann set.

 
I sort of felt the same way the first time I watched KLK. I dropped it after maybe 10 episodes. Eventually I went back and finished it and ended up really liking it. I think it's something you just need to be in the mood for. Once you can accept and appreciate how stupid the premise is, it gets a lot better.

 
I can deal with all sorts of absurdity.  KLK just went from cool to not cool in a hurry.  It's just like Raye said, when Nudist Beach got involved and the plot became all about the war against clothing is when it went downhill.  The best part of the show was the first couple episodes as Ryuko was taking on all the 2-star team captains, moving her way up the ranks, and then fighting the Elite Four.

 
I've spent $100 on Rightstuf, and $300 on the Sentai sale so far.   But I was able to pick up so many different shows at the top of my demand queue.  Unfortunately, there's still about $300-400 worth of LE sets I want to get from the Funi store.   Might have to call it quits here though.  I don't have money for all the stuff I already bought.

Funimation should take note of what Sentai did.That's the way you do a sale. The sad part is,Funimation, has much better deals when they do their deals of the week. My wallet hurts but thank you Sentai.
