Amazon tends to offer lower everyday prices on their anime, and often run sales on Funimation items routinely. Keep track on your favorites or check your daily deal's for a possible 5% off of some based off your history on Amazon.

Known by many for their bad customer service, they often make up for it with their lower prices on a lot of their items. This and they routinely run sales specifically for anime.

People seem to claim there is a quality difference between Funi and Aniplex which is (at least slightly) reflected in the pricing. Is there a difference in quality between the UK and US versions of the Kill la Kill bluray?

 
Does anyone know how long Sentai takes to ship the product? I got my confirmation email on Monday and haven't gotten anything since.

The 30% off one item on Barnes and Noble is pretty nice for those large ticket items. Used it on the complete box set of FMA (manga) to get it for 100 bucks

 
I'm still trying to find a deal on Slayers seasons 1-3. I guess they don't have it on blu-ray as it seems seasons 4-5 are only on blu-ray. I've seen some kind of Perfect Collection listed but it's only dvd.

Slayers was on sale at BF or the December Sale from RS about 2 years ago. A DVD version for S4 and 5 does exist.

The Perfect Collection is a bootleg.

Phew, glad I didn't buy it then. It really sucks that this series avoids all sales the past few years. I can never find When Marnie was There for less than $20 either.

 
Spent like $80 on the Sentai sale last night. Really wanted to buy more, but prior Aniplex purchases and getting a PS4 this week limited my budget. Very happy to finally own Shirobako.

20.99 is the bluray price

17.99 is the dvd price

There's a selector before you add it to the cart.

You may have to allow javascript for it to display properly. It's the shopify one.

Nevermind figured it out. Seems when you do a search it changes the display but if you go to the page when browsing the catalog of titles it doesn't do it.

I think that is the lowest its been. Last time it was that low (or close to it) was when it was the special lunchbox edition that then sold out permanently. Should be listed in the rightstuf thread under a past year.

Does anybody know what time the sentai sale ends tonight or tomorrow? Trying to decide whether to see if they put some more items on there tomorrow before I make my purchase.

 
I wish Boys Be was just a little cheaper, I'd be all over it.

Yamada's first time (B Gata H Kei) is hilarious and very raunchy.  Lewdness is more with word play than fanservice although it does actually have some sex scenes with nudity in it but they are pretty tame/realistic and not like something gross you would see in hentai.  Its on a similar wavelength of something like Seitokai Yakuindomo or Shimoneta.  Lead actress is the same as Suzuha in Steins;Gate and she kills it. If you like ecchi shows I'd recommend it as a blind buy at $8.99.

It's been far cheaper on amazon.co.uk! :D That's where I got my copy. Don't think it was more than $35-40. Wasn't region locked either if I recall.

I've only read the first volume and a half, but it is still high quality, but the story does diverge since each have their own unique characters. The anime has Claire and Hakim, while the manga we get to see Fee's son in more detail, a hammy debris collector who claims he is an alien, and an American military colonel attempting to prevent war (and with the name you would expect a Japanese writer to give an American colonel).
