Any advice on getting a good deal for Dragon Quest V for the DS?

I just got a DSI the other day and this is a game I have always wanted to play. I have not found much luck finding this game for less than 50 dollars. I also have a fear where I have heard there are a lot of fake copies of DS games. Any advice how to spot a fake? I did see a place that had it for 24.99 but it said the game doesn't work for the DSI but only DS and DS lite so I'm assuming its a fake. Thanks for any advice you can give!
 
You MIGHT want to try Toys R Us if there's one near you. Several months ago, I found like 3 copies that were sealed and on clearance for like $25 each or something like that.
 
Look at the color/tint of the cover. I ended up with a fake Pokemon Platinum for y sister and teh cover clearly too dark, everything else looked perfect.

As for DQV check K-Mart it seems many of them have a copy or two for $35-40. It's not a great deal, but it's better than inflated e-prices.
