Any deals on new Xboxes?

Mine is starting to crap out on me........I'm getting more and more disc-read errrors......I might need to replace it.

What would you do: Replacement DVD drive for $80 bucks, or just get a new unit for like XXX dollars?

Can these be found in the $100 range...or are they still $150+++

it depends on how much stuff you have on the hard drive. I thought new drives wer elike 50?

I suggest just buying a replacemnt drive from ebay.
I bought a couple of thomsons from this seller. Great service, I was having a problem with one and they sent a replacement without any trouble.

Does anyone sell Samsung or Phillips disc drives? Ive looked before, but all I could find were ones for like 80 bucks.

I saw the same.....I opted for the Thompson above.....not all Thompsons are crap, just...alot of em Since my Release Xbox has been behaving with some, but now failing on others, its time to do an update..i'm hoping the newer drives MIGHT be of better quality than the original one thats in my 'box now...
