Any events going on in July?

I'm staying in NYC till the end of July. Any events going on? I've already run out of things to do. Or if anyone wants to hang out I'd be glad to.

RX Bandits and Portugal. The Man concert at Highline Ballroom on August 1st, if you're into that kinda thing...

Well, it's about 2 hours from New York but there is a convention in Hartford called Connecticon. It's basically a mish-mash of all nerdy things with comics, anime, video-games, fantasy games, etc. There will be gaming tournaments and kioks set up for people.
