looking to upgrade from my standard HP mouse into something more suited for gaming. but i have no idea where to start looking for any deals....not really trying to spend a WHOLE lot, just something low end.

anyone know of any good deals or where to keep checking for something to pop up?
 
I went through the same thing about a month ago. First off, you want to find out what type of grip you use on your mouse. http://www.razerzone.com/mouseguide/ergonomic
After you have figured out what grip you currently use then go from there. I picked up a Razer Deathadder on a Woot sale for 25 dollars about a month ago. You just have to keep looking. But once you find out your grip that will narrow it down some. Many people love Razer,Logitech, and Steel Series mice for gaming.
 
I'm upgrading as well. I've narrowed mine down to the Razer Naga or Logitech G600. Pretty sure I'm going with the Logitech, unless I find a crazy deal on the Razer.

The Razer Naga & Logitech G600 both sell for $79.99 every where else I've checked. You can fing the Naga Molten on BestBuy.com for $65.

I'm opting for the Logitech because I'm 6'4" so my hands are exactly small. Plus I've seen too many issue with the Naga series for my liking.
 
I have a Razer Imperator that I literally used for a day that I'd sell for cheap. I found it to be far too big for my girlish, yet manly, hands.
