i came across this auction site a few years back. it was set up sort of like a chinese auction. heres an example of how it worked...
seller lists a game and people can buy chances for $1 ea (or whatever amount, depending on the value of the item). at the end of the auction, the winning chance gets the item. so basically 100 people (unlimited amount) buy a $1 chance. one lucky winner gets the game and it only ends up costing them $1. the seller basically makes $100 minus fees of course. i think the name had BEE in its name. like auctionbee.com or whatever. for the life of me, i cant recall the name. ive tried numerous word plays but cant locate the site. does that sound familiar to anyone? for all i know the site may no longer be around but if it is, id love to find it again.
