I can't find any stores that take them like GameStop years ago.
i don't have any by me I wish I did though thanks!Half Price Books. That's if you have one by you.
does fye do cash I haven't been there in a long time I want to trade in dvds for games I don't think fye sells them thoughFye is another
that sucks tiv is crap I guess it isn't worth it.Fye does sell games. And cash back is less % than store credit just like Gamestop.
Ya DVD TIV is bad.
Well from what I recall, you can get about $1.50 per DVD and $4-7+? for blu-ray. Not many options to off load DVDs unless Best Buy has the $5 off coupons with trade and save promotion.that sucks tiv is crap I guess it isn't worth it.
for us it was great but for them it was horrid. i cant imagine how much money they lost off of that programYeah the Best Buy upgrade and save were great times to clear out DVDs. Sadly i dont think best buy plans on doing that promo again. I hope so.
Did I miss something from the last time the promo ran? They ran the promo like 4 different times, months apart. Why would they run it again if it didn't do well for them?for us it was great but for them it was horrid. i cant imagine how much money they lost off of that program
to me if they werent loosing alot of money from the program than it would still be going on every few months. its been like a year and a half since the last time they did it isnt it ?Did I miss something from the last time the promo ran? They ran the promo like 4 different times, months apart. Why would they run it again if it didn't do well for them?
I'm trying to think of what they actually did with those DVDs. They required case+art, no rentals, no porn, no bootleg/ripped. To me it sounds like they probably donated the DVDs, then wrote them off for taxes (at more than $5 per).
Gamestop opened up Moviestop so that they would have a store exclusively devoted to movies. The locations are kind of limited though, mostly east coast.I can't find any stores that take them like GameStop years ago.
The idea was to clear out Blu-rays because they were planning to shrink the space devoted to them in store. Mission accomplished for Best Buy, so the Upgrade and Save is no longer needed.Did I miss something from the last time the promo ran? They ran the promo like 4 different times, months apart.
