Availability of Wii?

Hey guys I'm thinking about asking for a Wii for christmas but I was wondering if any of you have any insight into how hard it would be to obtain one by then? I'm just wondering if it will be near impossible so I shouldn't even bother asking for it or not

Heard things about weekly shipments. I called a few stores early today just to see if they have any, no luck there, online retailers appear to be sold out but have said they are getting periodic shipments, hopefully some of the demand goes down now that prices on ebay are starting to sink.

My friend and I have been trying to get one. We've both been calling around. Stores around me tell me there sold out. And they don't know when there getting more in because they come via UPS.

I went to ebgames today and they said that every ebgames in the country will have Wiis to sell on Black Friday. They open at 7am that day!
