Battlefield3/Origin "Problem with game setup... reinstall game."

Battlefield3/Origin "Problem with game setup... reinstall game." So before there would always be "ready to install" even though I already did and it would get frozen and not even install. I then uninstalled and reinstalled both origin and bf3. Now bf3 is ready to play and there is no orange "ready to install" but now it says "problem with game setup... reinstall game".

I emailed EA support, looked at their forums.. none of the fixes seem to work.

How did anyone get this to work...

Update. So I just tried the "repair" function and now I'm back to "ready to install" and when I click it, it says "installing" then back to "ready to install". So frustrating!

EA support is worthless. They just seem to give the run around saying to reinstall origin and bf3.

go to your battlefield 3 install, usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3. There will be bf3.exe with some crazy name, just rename it to bf3.exe. After renaming, sign out from Origin, and then sign in again and install the game, it should be fine from there.
