battlestar galatica free game download

I downloaded it and played through it. It looks surprisingly good, and aside from some rough sound effects and *slightly* flat voice acting, it sounds great too.

I guess due to their using FRED, the game seems to ape the mission structure of the Freespace games. In other words, the missions start out straightforward but can easily turn into something completely new. They also offer branching goals, so that you can fail at something and succeed at something else and it will be acknowledged in the debrief.

So it's freespace 2 with Vipers, which, let's be honest, is something everyone secretly wanted.
