BB RZ members: Early Access to Outlet items

bjkrautk

CAGiversary!
In the latest "Inside Blue" e-mail from Best Buy, there's a link to a list of items that will be going into the 'outlet' portion of the site on 2/7/09. Of the 92 items on the list, 61 of them are games. By clicking through the link, RZ members can buy the items now at the outlet/clearance prices.

NOTE: You won't see the reduced price until you actually add the item to your shopping cart. I confirmed with one game (Simpsons game on DS shows $19.99, actually $17.99), but am not willing to go through the process for the full list. The prices I'm listing are before clearance; I can edit with regular prices once they're confirmed by my fellow CAGs.

Here's what I put in my cart, nothing special in terms of savings (about 10%) for each

Time Crisis 4 (PS3) - $53.99
Frontlines: Fuel of War (360) $17.99

This appears to be the Gold Edition, which was EA's brilliant idea to let you pay extra to get more powerful weapons for online play. You can unlock the same weapons by reaching level 25 (the maximum rank), though, so there's absolutely no point buying it.

For $20, though, the regular edition is well, well worth it. Single-player's a lot of fun, and I've been having a blast online. It's a good change of pace after prestiging 5 times on CoD4.

Looks like they are giving 10% off the purchase, similar to what circuit city had when I walked into their store.

I picked this up when it was $19.99 at Gamestop a few weeks ago.

I just finished playing the hell out of COD:WaW and moved on to Bad Co. I am enjoying it a lot. Nice change of pace. There are fewer missions, but the missions are much longer.
It's just 10% off everything which is really not that good
Also, there is tax in every state that has a sales tax and shipping is ridiculous. This is not even close to a deal.

shipping isnt too bad and if you have silver membership it is free.

Whoa, really?

for anything at BB or just this deal?

Shipping is $3 per item. Most of us aren't silver members. That's more than Amazon which is free over $25 and many other sites that have some correlation to the weight of what's being shipped or have free shipping coupons. When you factor in tax, that pretty much knocks out the 10% off, so you are left with basically paying full MSRP plus shipping on these "deals".
