Best Buy: 007 Legends PS3 & 360 $5/ Prototype 2 360 deal is dead no more!

im thinking about trading in 007 to bestbuy for black friday but i have this feelng i wont be getting much from them unlike previous black fridays as im basically caught up to current gen
 
Awesome. Got both for $0. Shipped to store. Weird thing is it said 007 was available now it's being shipped for pick up on 10/31.

edit: nevermind..they are now saying it's ready of pick up..silly best buy!

had mysteriously zero problems with what is usually the biggest wang of a fascist cashier. $0, didn't even bat an eye, out the door I went. kept expecting to see a red sniper's beam on my chest or something.

Hopefully will be going tomorrow to pick up 007 legends since i have the instore coupon & also trade in castlevania & maybe get puppeteer

 
If anyone who used the 007 coupon online would be willing to send me a PDF of the coupon I would try to use it in stote. Dont know if it would work but I would appreciate. PM me if you are only gonna use it obline wanna try.

got 007 in store (a bunch are left surprisingly) and used the prototype 2 coupon instore to have prototype 2 shipped to my home, no probs at all. thats now 5 free games ive gotten from bestbuy :D
 
I'll wait for this to be dead before I complain to customer service. I tried to renew in store weeks ago and couldn't. I missed out on about $80 in credit at least from trading in and points last year and this year from employee errors and not being able to renew in store.

 
Got 007 in store. No more Prototype 2, but I got that one online. Manager just laughed and congratulated me on the free game.. Then laughed again when I picked up my store pickup. Plan in trading them again tonight for $36 and using my other gift cards for a preorder.
 
LOL, this thread has almost as many users viewing as the time, when the $40 xbox 360s popped up on amazon warehouse deals

  • While we make improvements to the program, we are not taking any new enrollments. Once these enhancements have been made in November, we will again be taking enrollments in-store. At that time, please see an in-store specialist for details on becoming a member.

^ okay, I tried on the app sometime ago and got denied. Am I supposed to try elsewhere?

I've practically given up on Gcu since I was unsuccessful with that back then and their CS is horrible

Thank you OP. Didn;t need either but you cannot beat FREE. Figure anyone does this makes a small profit if they ever traded those in at some future date.

I used my phones web browser.

Also got both copies being shippied to me. Might give them a play before I trade them in since any profit is a + to me.

 
its funny how guys on here are expecting other cheapies to give them these coupons when they are giving us 40$ worth of games for free lol. either pay for the sub or give back equal value in return
 
Thanks again OP.  Went in the store grabbed a copy of 007 for X360 didn't notice any Prototype 2's but that had one on the clearance rack and that worked without issue.  The cashier seemed kinda uneasy when my total was zero, but didn't give me any trouble.  

 
I've been waiting for this! Figured this might happen after those coupons were revealed, and been wanting 007 despite mediocre reviews and reluctance to drop in price. Too bad Wii U version isn't on sale too. Thanks OP!

 
I got the digital magazine open now and see the coupons. But how to I apply them or use them? I feel so stupid. I dont see any coupon SKUs or anything.

During the last page of checkout, click on promotional codes and apply your coupon. Just like the way you use your rewardzone codes.

 
Ordered Prototype 2 for shipping (I'll probably give it to a friend since I still have it from the last deal where I got it for $5.. unopened..). Got 007 Legends for store-pickup. I also ordered Dead Rising 2 OTR pre-owned for $7.99 - $5 reward zone gift, to keep the order from being obviously free.. just $2 and change..

I'm not at my house right now, do the physical coupons have a code you can use online? If not, I guess I'm going to place an order using my BB CC and tell them NOT to process the order and ring me out regularly. I know a lot of people have done stuff like that, but I never have, hope it goes off without a hitch..gotta drive 20 minutes each way with my toddler to get it after work..

edit: NVM, had my wife read me the back of the coupon..won't work. Did my order for pick-up just in case. My plan is to check the shelf first, take a copy if its there, go to the cashier, ring it out and leave. Then call up the 800 number and cancel my 'real' order..

Bought :ps3: 007 Legends in-store during lunch.  Bought a couple of cheap movies to keep the total from being $0.  Glad I did, because the cashier read EVERY word on the coupon AND compared the SKU on the coupon to the SKU in in the system, even before realizing it would zero out the cost of the game.  If the total had been $0, I'm sure it would have been questioned.

Man, the DBZ Kinect one was worth it for me, one store let me get multiples at $5 a pop because they had like 40 of them. Turned around and sold all but one (gave that to my nephew) on Ebay for like $15 each. Thank you Best Buy.

Sold Tank Tank Tank for $20 on Ebay, got it for free from BB.

Sold my $5 Prototype 2 on eBay for $15 months ago.

Now a free copy of Prototype 2 and 007 Legends (which I almost paid $15 for at Blockbuster B1G1 last time that was around...

Anyone who wants Best Buy to go away is an idiot and just plain wrong.

 
I plan on picking up Batman after work. If I use the coupon on the PS3 copy of 007 ($19.99) will it take $5 off of my purchase with Batman? That would be pretty cool.

 
I traded in a bunch of games to get Bioshock Infinite when it came out, and Prototype 2 was one of them. I've been wanting to go back and play it again, so free sounds pretty good to me.

Now if only I could get back some of the other games I traded in, like Spec Ops.
