I've never seen a standard copy of the game, just LE packages. The website says the game is $29.99, but I assume that's a standard version?

It should stack with GCU if you can find it in store.  In store pickup isn't listed as an option on the website.

Is there an store inventory checker if a game such as that is not available for store pickup? I don't see it anywhere on the listing for the game. if I can get it for $16.95 after GCU and 6% tax, I will go buy it!

That or the date on the coupon is wrong, but you are probably right. Interesting, I suppose if anyone wants it...they can call in and hope someone will take pity on them since it is rather confusing.

The expiration date on the coupon may cause issues, but it's worth a shot. Be aware that the size of the case for the game is bigger than your standard PS3 game since it is a digibook. As such it did not fit on my shelf and I had to get a spare case from a local Gamestop that knows me well.

It depends on where you use it. Online has proven it's been a bit glitchy, but in store the @Gamer coupons happen first then 20%. I rather say it'll be $16 and be surprised it's $14 or less then say it's $14 and be disappointed.

Only drops to $24 as a GCU member. So either the coupon is bad, it can't be done online, or GCU members get the less of the deals.

Or as has been stated the coupon is not active yet. Not bad per say, just either the expiration date is wrong or they posted the coupon at the wrong time and it was for next month.

 
It appears you can get this for $10 at Target if you price-match Targets website (or BBY I assume) for $30 and then pre-order a select game at $1. It will take $20 off KH making it $10, for a total of $11+tax.

 
YMMV, but they let me use the coupon at my local BB. They had to do a manual price correction since the coupon doesn't work yet.

This is very YMMV as most Targets have wised up and only allow you to do the price match or the pre-order deal. Not both and stacked.

That's why you grab a preorder card, ask for the price-match, you (hopefully) get escorted to the front Customer Service desk, then before they give you the adjusted total, pull out the card and ask if you can get it, too.

Oh trust me. I know how to work it. It got killed on the Tomb Raider deal. Someone on these forums called Target corp and complained about a manager denying him the deal. Prompted corporate to send an email dictating the rules word for word. I managed to snag a ps3 tomb raider for a buck. When I went back to get a 360 one the next day the email had gone out. I also managed to snag $1 skylander giants sets and a ten dollar dead space 3 prior to that using the same method. Maybe you will get lucky and get an ignorant manager but it seems like the majority have been warned to watch for these deals.

Well Gamestop had non-LE copies on the first day but they also sold through almost their entire allotment of LEs at most stores on the first day. Also I know BBY had them because I bought at least one there.

I brought up two to pm at Target, but the cs rep said she could only pm one? So after she adjusted it I handed her a pre order card, and she told me the total was ~$11, then got confused and said "oh I see what you did there...Wait, I don't think we can do that." Then she walked away and came right back saying it was only one or the either and that they got a memo about it.  I was just about to enter my pin when she cancelled it.  If I would've brought more items up I would've had a better chance, but I didn't grab anything before asking for the game out of the case.

Yup. Just as I had said. Still pisses me off to this day the prick that called corporate and complained. Ruined it for everyone else and any future deals...

I don't doubt it. Had someone at a store near me complaining about how he wasn't getting the 30% off two coupon. Coincidentally, the coupons were stopped the next day.

Oh I know most stores had non-LE on day one. But those were not the first print run. I should have been a bit more specific in stating that. Not all day 1 copies were LE, but all pre-orders and the first few batches were LE. BUt they are not as common as other first print run LE games like Dead Space 3 for example.

The UPCs were different as well so while effectively a first run special edition they were two different products technically.

The coupon date started 3/2/14 which would fall on a Sunday of next month which is typically when the new coupons are available each week so yes I'm pretty sure it a coupon we won't see until a month from now
