purchased gta 5 pc because of that damn $10 rewards. I already own it on the ps4 and ps3.........have yet to open it and still debating on if the pc version is worth it. My pc is more than capable of running it on high settings, just don't know what to do. I'm scared....hold me

 
if you already own the ps4 version i dunno why you'd play on pc right now, the only new feature is video edit mode.  plus there are places that sell the key for $30 (nuvuum) and i'm sure it'll drop to $20 in a few months.  I'd rather play GTA5 on a big tv than a monitor too, plus I imagine in online mode cheating is going to be insane on PC version.  Which may be useful for heists, lol.

also if you ordered the ps4 (or xbox one) version from best buy the PC version will NOT give you the $10 cert, they are all considered the same offer.  The PS3/360 version is seperate though, if you bought that from best buy you could still have double dipped on ps4/xbone/pc.

They asked me for my email after initially asking for my phone number. then my email address showed up on the little screen for me to confirm it was correct

I went to preorder Batman and Witcher 3. On the Batman preorder slip, it says $10 promotion.. but on the Witcher 3 receipt, there is no mention of the $10 promo. I wonder if the $10 would still get posted to your account or not, since BestBuy's site clearly lists Witcher 3 in the promo.

If you pre-order witcher 3 and purchase it within the launch week, then you will get a $10 bonus certificate. Period.

anyone know if you can change your email associated with your bestbuy account in store? I was in a rush and dun fucked up and added gamers club unlocked to an email I can no longer access. I also can't login to the account on my bestbuy because I am using a new damn location and computer fuck

I bought it on PC and am extremely happy with it. I have a GTX 970 though so it looks absolutely awesome (so if you're just curious about graphics I would go for it). Confirmed that you do get the $1,200,000 when redeeming the code in the box despite the slip only saying $1,000,000. I didn't buy GTAV from Best Buy for PS4 (got the digital download instead) so I should be ok on the $10 cert.

Finished the MK X story mode tonight, it was pretty terrible although the animations, fatalities, brutalities, etc are all spectacular.  Glad I didn't buy the season pass or CE, this game is really not that good unless you are super, super, super into the MK fighting tournament scene.

Trading into Best Buy for $44.80 with GCU/30% bonus, wonder if they will roll the 30% bonus another week or not.

Why in the world would you buy a fighting game primarily designed for humans to beat the shit out of other humans online just for a story mode?? Of course the story sucks, it hasnt made sense since 1992. That's not why most people play it though. Almost as confounding as people buying COD just to play the single player campaign.
 
Preordered Mortal Kombat and picked it up yesterday.  I have yet to receive the Goro bonus so I decided to check my purchase history online.  I do not have the pending $10 reward certificate even though the $5 I had put down to preorder was applied to the purchase.  Has anyone had this happen before?

 
Finally, something Id be willing to pay full price on and get the extra 10 dollar coupon. I got a MGS5 LE locked in when they first came in stock with GCU now this stacked on it.

It can take up to 15 days from pickup before you get the Bonus Cert.

With that said I just check my account, and my points have already posted. If any of the new people are wondering, this is what it looks like after you receive it.

the stories are fun MK9 was fantastic and had like 18 hours of gameplay/video in it. MK 10 wasn't too bad, it was like a cheesy movie except too much focus on the cage family and almost none on scorpion / subzero. Which was disappointing, since the CE statues were both of scorpion.

I haven't played a fighting game in a while so I guess I'm just too old but man some of the moves are crazy hard to pull off. Like serious rain man levels of button switching and coordination required for some of the super kombos. 2 player is definitely fun if you have someone to play with locally, online is kinda wonky had a lot of disconnects and resets and couldn't team up with friends etc.

Anyways my 500 points posted as well, preordered the game on 3/29, so definitely at least 14 days before release gives you the $10 cert really fast. As soon as I trade in MK X today i'll roll it towards Witcher 3.

I preordered April 2nd, so yes that seems right. BB seems to be getting better with delivering these Certs. I already have a preorder for the witcher so I'm just going to bank the points. It's so much easier when you receive the bonus in the same week. I use to hate logging in and checking daily, just to be disappointed lol.

Just to be clear, I have preordered multiple times now. The 500 points is always pending if you look at the purchase. This time there is nothing.

No it's not always pending. It can take up to 15 days before the pending shows up. Mine was never pending, it just showed up.

Edit, just realized that put me over 5000 points. Too bad I can't t put that towards my MGS5 CE.

Wow! Lol The only time that I managed to gather that many points simultaneously was in 2011 when you had to pre-order and pick up 5 games and then you'd get a $100 reward certificate
 
i bought a lot of electronics last year for work and racked up over 40,000 points i bought a PS4 a few weeks ago with all points the guy checking me out called over 2 of his buddies telling them I got a PS4 for free lol.

 
First time hearing of battle born, and it looks incredible on its own but the Star Wars accuracy and attn to detail is amazing

I'll wait til I hear more, but so far I'm ok with that. The movies are so ingrained in my head, not sure I really want to re-enact them all.

This sounds kind of like how Titanfall devs spun the no single player critique before their game came out. I'm betting it will be challenge rooms or something similar.

It will probably be just like the other Battlefront games, they had missions were you just had to defeat the CPU side... no actual story. but still seems somewhat shallow in their offereings... would have wanted more planets and fights.

Has anyone had trouble lately with gcu not registering?

The store I picked my Mk preorder up at yesterday had to manually adjust the total.

did in store pickup for this one since I fully expect midnight launch and i must play the second I can.  will probably get a second digital copy on PC too

xboners may get a nice advantage if they put this game into EA Access you'll be able to download and play like the weekend before release.  I'm sure there will be betas and all that good stuff too for all platforms
