Sorry if this has been asked before, but if I preordered at one store, am I able to change pickup to a different store? I preordered NBA 2k16 at the Best Buy near work but would rather pick it up at the store near errands I have to run.

No, you would have to go and cancel at that store and make a new pre-order at the other store.

Your best bet would be to preorder before Friday. Best Buy has decided to let anyone buy the game on Friday not just people who preordered. Less confusion and disappointed customers that way.

As far as BB is concerned the game comes out tomorrow. They said to just put the game on the sales floor. Every copy we got was a "Tip-Off Edition" anyway.

its not, though i thought best buy would be throwing a $10 gift card for these niche games (nobunaga's ambition, blood bowl 2, disgaea 5) im definitely spoiled because i cant pay full (GCU) price for anything anymore.

Hello burnalivetolive –

Getting an early pre-order for that killer game to make sure you get it on launch day is something I’m all too familiar with. I’ve been do dozens of midnight releases over the years, so I absolutely understand you not wanting to lose your pre-order because of our credit card change.

The existing BestBuy MasterCard’s will continue to be valid until 1/31/16, as to not disrupt existing pre-orders made with the card. It is my understanding that as long as you do not activate your new Visa card until after your pre-orders have been fulfilled, there should be no issues with them.

I have reached out for additional clarification on this, as there is some confusion regarding this question on our end, and I will update this thread if I learn any new information. In the meantime, I would recommend playing it safe and not activating your new Visa until after you’ve picked up your pre-orders.

The Poster is just the cover of the game and is just folded up inside the case. The wall hang is smaller than the size of the case (it fits where the booklets go). Overall I'd say no.

Mine had today's date. It was weird because the email was worded like it would be ready tomorrow but it had today's date on it.

Regular edition. I didn't even know the special edition had problems as well. Yesterday when I checked it was only the regular edition that you couldn't order at all. Then they brought it back but only for shipping...then later on brought back the pickup option.

This is getting to be a common problem. One Piece, Mad Max, and now NBA2K16 all have had problems with ordering near/after their release date.

 
I wonder if I pre-order 2k16 now, will i still get the $10 cert? It technically doesn't come out til Tuesday

you could go buy the $5 preorder card, then go buy the game. that should fulfill your obligations to get the $10. just use the card when you get the game or take it back for a refund.

they have a rack somewhere in the gaming section with cards for preordering games. usually beside the big gaming kiosk, you might be able to preorder it from the kiosk but that might not work because it may be updated like the website is.

I suppose this is the best deal for the pc version of Fallout 4.      10 bucks rewards cert + Gamers Club discount and I think I have 10 bucks in rewards points from previous purchases.      I'm sure it'll just be a steam code inside the box but thats not a big deal.    Gotta save some moolah!  

 
For NBA 2K16, where do I find the 10,000 VC and My Team extras you are supposed to get for pre ordering? I order online for in store pick up and usually get an email within minutes of picking the game up with the code for the pre-order bonus, but haven't received anything.

This. I just picked up my 2 preorders and they both appear to be vanilla versions. I guess I should double check my receipt.
