I can't get past the "Delivery options" page for some reason.  There's no continue button or anything that takes me to they Payment screen.  Ugh!
 

 
Interesting. I just went to look at my rewards history and noticed I got 500 Points for Halo 5 Collector's edition and 500 points for the regular Halo 5 I bought. Both were from the glitch in May.

I don't know why MS didn't move up the date to Tuesday. A lot more people would buy it and try to blaze through it in 3 days so they could trade it towards Fallout instead of having to choose between the two.

and after SE complained about the last Tomb Raider only selling 3 million copies, good luck getting a million this time.

 
Have 500 points pending for Halo 5. Do you guys know if I preordered both the regular edition and LE if I get double points? I know you only get one per game but figured that the different SKUs would change that.

 
Halo 5 doesn't even show up on my reward history....and when I go to "record missing points" it says that order was already processed...I just spent $10 rewards today, but I though they were from MGSV but I could be wrong I guess

Well, they got MS to foot the bill on some of the development and marketing, so they likely don't need nearly as many copies to break even.

I think it makes sense in two respects:

1. Adds another bullet in the MS chamber when people see the difference in exclusives this holiday season, where Uncharted's remake basically stands alone (well, with Until Dawn, I guess) against several big-name franchises like Forza, Halo, Tomb Raider, Gears, Fable, and Rare Replay.

2. They don't have to self-produce a direct competitor to Uncharted, which Tomb Raider can basically serve as. Now, when people say they like the PS4 for Nathan Drake, Lara Croft can be a counter point, while you have Sony (as I just stated) missing the mark on the FPS and racing genres, from an exclusive standpoint.

I do kind of agree that MS didn't need this, though. Tomb Raider's not swaying anyone towards one console or the other. Though it competes with Uncharted, those wanting Uncharted want Nathan Drake, not any general action game of that nature. It's like trying to lure Halo fans with Call of Duty--you either have that character draw or you don't. Genre similarity's not enough.

In practice, the points will usually move from pending to your account 15 days after you pickup the game. YMMV as always though.

1. When looking at your Reward History, make sure you are checking the date you Ordered even the game. Not the release date.
2. If you preorder early(2 weeks+), you will most likely receive the bonus within a few days. Average 2-3 days(I've received more sooner)
3. If you wait till the weekend or day before release to preorder, it could take up to the 15 days from release. Average 7-10 days


Just found on the order status page, where you select "orders from the past 90 days". There is now a option to view only your open orders. Haven't seen this before, guessing it was added when they updated a couple weeks ago. As someone that places multiple orders from BB per week, this is a great feature. Better then having to scroll through 8 pages just to find a game you preordered back in March.

Still debating on Tomb Raider, I want to play it but not when Fallout releases. Might preorder, then trade in, just to make a couple bucks and get the Cert.

Anyone think either Tomb Raider or WWE2K16 will be on sale for Black Friday? I know wwe2k15 wasn't on sale last year, but it released late(Nov 18th I believe).

The last Tomb Raider was better than Uncharted 1 or 3, so I dunno about that. Personally, if I only had money for one, I'd take RotTR over Fallout 4. I'll definitely be playing it first. TR just doesn't have the super bombastic, Hollywood blockbuster set pieces that Uncharted hangs its hat on... Which I don't think is a bad thing.

But then, I'm a guy who bought a Xone for the Insomniac, Remedy, and Platinum exclusives, and I don't give a flying fuck about Gears, Fable, or non-Horizon Forzas. Halo 5 is also the first Halo I've enjoyed since ODST (and that was the first since the original) so I know I'm in the minority.
 
In my REWARDS HISTORY, it's only showing 98 points for Halo 5 (no 500 pre-order points pending), but in my REWARDS OVERVIEW, it's showing 500+ points pending.

So, for those that received the regular points for Halo 5, but don't see any 500 points pending, you may want to check your REWARDS OVERVIEW.  I'm curious if others are experiencing the same thing.

 
I just got an email from Best Buy with a coupon for a free Insignia portable with $50 in store purchase so I'm assuming others may have gotten this as well.  Thanks Hubert and whomever steals this and turns it in to a full thread better credit me!

Guess I did get the Halo 5 pre-order email and just junked it by mistake.

I got the same email. Looks like I'll be picking up my Fallout 4 preorder (made online), returning it, and rebuying it in order to get the free speaker (coupon says not good on online/store pick up orders).

The option to view only open orders has always been on there, I have been using it for a while.

Idk if you would make money trade in the tomb raider game. But If your planing on playing fallout, that takes a while to be done with. So tomb raider should have good sale prices by then.

WWE 2k is always on sale Black Friday. Last year Best Buy had it for $25 and I remember because I got it for my brother in law. If there are good sales that you are not sure would be better than Black Friday, just buy the item, and return if you see it's better later.

Idk if you would make money trade in the tomb raider game. But If your planing on playing fallout, that takes a while to be done with. So tomb raider should have good sale prices by then.

WWE 2k is always on sale Black Friday. Last year Best Buy had it for $25 and I remember because I got it for my brother in law. If there are good sales that you are not sure would be better than Black Friday, just buy the item, and return if you see it's better later.
