As a My Best Buy member, get $10 in reward certificates per game title you pre-order and purchase.
Eligible titles are available for :xb1: :ps4: :360: :ps3: :pc:.
 
What do I have to do to qualify for this offer?
If you are an eligible My Best Buy member, pre-order your copy of any of the qualifying titles in either the standard version or special edition for PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 or PC prior to their release date. Then you must purchase and pick up your pre-order within 7 days of street date. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup. When you meet these requirements, you will receive 500 bonus points credited to your account within 15 days of purchase or game shipment.
 
Where can I pre-order and purchase the qualifying games to qualify for this offer?
You may pre-order and purchase any of the qualifying games in Best Buy stores or online at BestBuy.com. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup.
 
Can I pre-order and purchase multiple copies of an eligible game and get multiple rewards?
No. There is a limit of one (1) award per My Best Buy member per game title.

Q: Can the 20% off Unlocked benefit be combined with a price match?
A: At the time of purchase, you would receive either the price match or 20% off. You would not be able to receive 20% off of a matched price. If Best Buy's price is lowered during the return/exchange period, the price will be matched to the lower price (upon request). My Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked Members should receive the new price along with the 20% discount. This price match covers one price match per identical item per customer.

If you look closely at the package contents to the right. It says "Destiny Blu-ray disc". I'm going to assume it will be inside a cardboard sleeve like previous PS3 Bundle games.

i though the trend for console bundle for sony always including physical disc, as oppose to microsoft who always bundled their games in digital downloable code

 
Two Best Buy questions. Does anyone know if Best Buy will hold a preoder? I want to preorder Diablo 3 for the PS4 for the bonus but will be out of the country this Fri-Sat. I may just order online and have someone check the mail. The second question is does BB price match if I purchase online (the gold wireless headset is cheaper on newegg) or do I have to do instore

if you order any items through bestbuy.com . they will hold it for 7-8 days, and they will give you an email of the exact date they will hold it to

You could always order it for in-store pickup like the day before it releases. They hold them for around a week so then once you get back you can go pick it up.

You can price match online orders you just need to call them over the phone.

in their eyes , it is all the same. you can bypass that, by having your girlfriend/mom/friend/relative make an separate mybestbuy account under their names/ information. that is what i am doing with the madden 15 promo

I believe the stated answer was discounting digital items only happens when they get kickbacks which only happens on PSN/PS+/XB1/Itunes/Steam...that`s why it happens so rarely.

Pre-order the game under the MBB account w/GCU & pre-order the console under a new MBB account. Since the 20% doesn`t affect the consoles cost & thr MBB is free it works out.

I never even knew it went that low on Amazon Warehouse but at the time of release it was sold out everywhere. I saw how much they were going for on eBay and decided to resell it before it was restocked a month later.

Really, really considering trading in my 360 for the PS4 and going all in on current-gen. But its so harrrrd to say goodbyyyyye to yesterdaaaayyyyEEEEE. =-(
 
does bb never do pre-launch promos for 3ds games? i need a deal for smash bros 3ds and preferably from best buy. guess that's out of the question, then?

I don't really have anything I want right now. I pretty much get my games from Best Buy day 1, and trade in the ones I don't want to keep after finishing it. Rinse and repeat. As for hardware, I own both of the portables, PS3, PS4, and pre-ordered the Sunset Overdrive X1 already. I am having trouble keeping up with backlogs on every system except for PS4. So anything being clearance out at a ridiculous low price will just mean I will have to take time to flip it. If I don't see the deal, I won't end up opening my wallet which is good in my case. :)

lol, most people in the amazon warehouse thread aren't actually getting those game to play, more for the trade in credit they can net with those cheap deals

Wish they had the digital guardian edition of Destiny on X1. That's a game I definitely want digitally. I've contemplated getting it on my PS4, but for some reason I prefer my digital stuff on my X1....

 
Sorry if this is old news but you can score a pretty good deal for Madden 15 right now by buying a used copy at GameStop for $28 ($25.2 PUR) and trading it into BBY for $25 base ($25.7 GCU). 

The Madden 25 trade in gets you a $10 coupon towards Madden 15. Factor in the $10 reward certificate promo and 20% off for GCU it comes out to $28.

I just did this today in order to free up some GameStop credit I had, I'm not even that interested in Madden but figured I could check it out and easily trade it/sell it for at least the $28 it's going to cost me to buy it.

you can get it far cheaper by going to Target. With absolutely no PM's you will pay $16 with a $1 pre-order card, as the $1 card gives you an automatic $15 discount off a new Madden 25 xbox which is $29.99 this week at Target. Brand new copy too.

You can drop it as low as $6 if you can PM Madden 25 to amazon, walmart, TigerDirect, etc but thats a bit more ymmv on whether the customer service people will let you PM + get the $15 discount

If you have a TigerDirect store in your area its also $19.97 there i think still, $19.97 online too for PS4/Xbox but you won't get it in time to trade at Best Buy (but could try PMing around)

 
I had already orders master chief collection before the $10 news, do we need to cancel those and place. New order now? That seems painful but how depending on bb system...
 
So when I click the link to see the 10 dollar card for Master Chief Collection, it just takes me to a page that shows 10 dollars for Halo 5, and a preorder bonus for the collection.. Is there not a 10 dollar card for the collection?

1- you don't need to cancel/re-do since they just added it, you'll be fine.

2- it'll take some time to update on their page as they announced it on their forum.

 
Yeah, if you read the OP you'd see the linked and quoted posts from the BB people saying the pages will be updated later in August.

Does anyone know if the map book will be given to us on release date, or will they show up in store before then?  I'm glad we are getting those, since other than the Steelbook the UK is getting that was the only other thing I'd want.

What exclusives? Drive Club?

I'd give it some time, games coming out next year will probably be added later on. Halo 5 is kind of an anomaly at this point. It also could be that Sony doesn't want their first party games as part of the program? Thats a question for the BBY forums.

with the launch lineup they didnt have any on the list either if im not mistaken. plus this year has had infamous, tlou remastered and mlb. later will have lbp amd drive club. plenty of games for bestbuy to put on the list

Sony seems to approach BB with those full Sony ads that focus on
Buy ____ game get $10-$20 off PS+ and/or ____ accessories
Buy ____ game & a PS3/PS4 get a free PS+ or another Sony game for free or greatly discounted
Someone in BB marketing needs to alert Sony there`s a large segment of their customers who have already loaded up on PSN/PS+, have the needed accessories & just want the game.

I`d rather them offer 20% off accessories thru GCU, the $10 pre-order credits and the console deals.
 
Can I use a Gift Card to pre-order a game in-store (actually, it's a $5 Birthday coupon)?  I never pre-ordered in store, but I was curious how that works. 

 
Why did someone list Master Chief Collection as $10 certificate?  It is not involved and probably never will be.  It's a deal at $59.99/$47.99 (GCU) as it is! haha
