As a My Best Buy member, get $10 in reward certificates per game title you pre-order and purchase.
Eligible titles are available for :xb1: :ps4: :360: :ps3: :pc:.
 
What do I have to do to qualify for this offer?
If you are an eligible My Best Buy member, pre-order your copy of any of the qualifying titles in either the standard version or special edition for PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 or PC prior to their release date. Then you must purchase and pick up your pre-order within 7 days of street date. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup. When you meet these requirements, you will receive 500 bonus points credited to your account within 15 days of purchase or game shipment.
 
Where can I pre-order and purchase the qualifying games to qualify for this offer?
You may pre-order and purchase any of the qualifying games in Best Buy stores or online at BestBuy.com. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup.
 
Can I pre-order and purchase multiple copies of an eligible game and get multiple rewards?
No. There is a limit of one (1) award per My Best Buy member per game title.

Q: Can the 20% off Unlocked benefit be combined with a price match?
A: At the time of purchase, you would receive either the price match or 20% off. You would not be able to receive 20% off of a matched price. If Best Buy's price is lowered during the return/exchange period, the price will be matched to the lower price (upon request). My Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked Members should receive the new price along with the 20% discount. This price match covers one price match per identical item per customer.

Anyone not get the Pre order bonus thats was supposed to come with NBA 2K15? I never had an issue before and usually get an email within minutes of picking up the game in store (I order online for in store pick up). Just wondering if this happened to a few people. I will probably contact them through the BB forums.

Received code on receipt and email minutes after. XBOX One version.

There was supposed to be some sort of "locker" voucher as well and I didn't receive that. Only the KD MVP code.

Yes, but normally they will still show up as pending in your transaction history.

My points for the game itself have already posted and the 500 promo points aren't even showing up as pending. I figured it might take a few days to show but it's been a week and still nothing. Best Buy really knows how to make things difficult for their customers.

You should've just wait for the reviews next week since the offer is good in store too and pick it up then if they are favorable enough to you.

That was going to be my plan as well, but then BB had that 1-day price decrease (error?) on the 360 version so I locked in. Hopefully the reviews are good, but ultimately I paid $37.23 for The Evil Within plus a $10 gift card. I'm pretty sure I can get more than $27.23 in trade if necessary.

The past few days I tried multiple times to Price Match Metro Redux. In the past I got a representative that would give me a case # and say a different department had to approve. I would usually call back and get someone else and they would just do the PM over the phone. I have called multiple times for Metro and each time the person needed to send it over to the research department and would not do it over the phone. They get completely confused with the GCU discount.  Anybody else having an issue PM'ing? Should I keep trying until I get someone or will the "research department" come through?

i know GCU doesnt work with PMing. but not sure what the policy is on PM'ing preorders. good luck

I am just PM'ing there price which has worked in the past. I purchased Metro Redux for $49.99 and after GCU it was $39.99. Now it is on sale for $39.99 and after GCU it comes to $31.99. So I should get back $8 plus tax. I purchase online for in store pick up. Usually it is no hassle at all. I would call up, explain the GCU, and I would get a PM over the phone. It seems to be a problem as of late.

Generally, clearing cache/cookies/browser history then loggin completely out and back in will fix most issues. Sometimes using a different browser too.

enuf are you able to find the post about best buy saying we are in fact entitled to post price match with GCU figured in to the price? i went through my forum account history and it aint showing that post anymore so just wondering if im missing it or it for some reason best buy deleted it

Maybe people are already aware, but for people who preordered previous versions of GTA V, apparently you aren't eligible for the $10 coupon for the versions that are coming out next month.

When I PM'ed Aaron-BBY on the BB forums, I got this response:

"Unfortunately, it would still count as the same title in this situation -- on-disc content is essentially the same as on PS3/Xbox 360, and neither the PS4 or Xbox One version are Game of the Year or "Remastered" editions."

I wish they could clarify on the product pages because I'm sure not everyone is aware of this.

 
I have yet to receive my $10 Forza code--giving it the 15-20 days.

And wow, that stinks for many. I didn't get my copy through BB, so I can still score the $10 certificate.

that bullshit and not true and I forget where but it was confirmed even those who ordered last gen version last time are eligible.

Aaron is the worst person to talk to and the worst forum rep. He is also the one that said used games count against the limit of 3 for GCU and that pokemon x and pokemon y counted as the same times and his posts have a habit of getting deleted. So for future reference if there something you want to know contact matt as the primary or Brian as a backup but never Aaron

This isn't right. The PS4 or XBX1 versions weren't even known to be coming when we did the original GTA promo. These are set up to work separately and will work separately. Doesn't matter if you participated in this offer on the old versions, as long as you meet all the qualifications for this (preorder and pick up within the pick up window) you're good to go.

Just a miscommunication on this. Apologies for that. We'll get this cleared up.

 
find it weird shadow of mordor is still on the $10 cert page and still has it listed as an offer on its page while 2k disappeared because it released already.  Wonder if buying it now would still generate a cert since it should be automatic.  I wouldn't call if i didn't get it because obviously it is for preorders but would be cool if it still came in.

The Shadow of Mordor is on the page because the PS3 / Xbox 360 version hasn't released. I checked it the other day, and it's only those versions that are listed as getting the $10 cert still.

i just tried to do this a few days ago. GCU overrode PM, but didn't notice difference until after leaving the store @ 9:30pm. then when trying to use 10% MC, CSR said "we don't allow double dipping". now have to go back to return a $32 copy of BO2, as I got a used copy from walmart for half the price. would prefer to do all my gaming needs at one store, as I have a bunch of gift cards & GCU, but BB's used copy that just contained the disc with no box was $30.

i have never received any communication regarding GCU, including the welcome packet/coupon. my email address is linked to myBB account, and believe i provided the CSR my phone number linked to the account when purchasing GCU. cant rememer if they asked for my email.

 
Figured this would be the best play to ask but i thought i read somewhere that the limit on GCU purchases changed to 3 per platform?
 
i have a question, when bestbuy cancels an order you made with rewardzone certif, after they return it to you. it should be under the status of Dotcom Returned Certificate Adjustment?

I can`t locate them either at least one was still on page 1 in the GC section.
 
I received the 3X points email as well but I don't have a printer so how can I still use the coupon? Also, there's no actual bar code in the email, just a 12 digit bar code number. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I found out the bar codes are all the same. Just show the below bar code on your phone.

Okay. I'm new to this and I'm sure this has been answered already but I preordered NBA 2K15 to get the 500 bonus points. Now I read the faqs and it says that I have to provide my Member Number when I go to pick up my preorder.

Isn't the Member Number already on file when you go to pick up your preorder?

I preordered NBA 2K15 on Best Buy website and did store pickup. Walked into Best Buy on Tuesday asked the rep I was picking up my copy. She got it and asked for my credit card I used for the purchase and my Driver's License. I gave her both and she told me to sign the receipt and I walked away. Was I suppose to give her my Member Number during that whole transition? Or was I fine and I should see the 500 points just show up on my account?

I've preorder all my games online with In-Store pick up and have received my points every time. You should be fine.

Reps should be able to just type the barcode sku however you can simply ask a pc rep(I generally ask in the Apple/MS areas) to use a pc that can print in-store using a store printer then print 2-3. Take one to kinkos then your covered.

Done on purpose, customers previously complained that they were left out b/c the items they wanted weren`t released yet. So they get the point reward now buying gc`s for items that won`t get pts when the gc`s are used in the future.


So 3x base, 2x for games & 25% for elite plus not bad at all that`s like 200 MBB pts per $48 game.
