I can`t locate them either at least one was still on page 1 in the GC section.
How come no one asks the person who posted it for the link? But best buy did delete it or locked the thread
http://forums.bestbuy.com/t5/Archive/Are-GCU-members-allowed-to-price-match/td-p/849417

Semi on topic but I called Sunday to get a post price adjustment for madden 15 thats on sale this week and was transferred to 3 different representatives before finally speaking with someone who would listen to me. At first she said she tried adjusting the price before and her supervisor told her they do not take into account the 20% GCU discount I then had to spell out the link to the forum post i Mae

I went back on hold and when she came back she made the adjustment and said she supervisor would send a notification out to get the message out about post purchase price adjustment for GCU members. So I guess the higher ups were not happy about my thread...

Okay. I'm new to this and I'm sure this has been answered already but I preordered NBA 2K15 to get the 500 bonus points. Now I read the faqs and it says that I have to provide my Member Number when I go to pick up my preorder.

Isn't the Member Number already on file when you go to pick up your preorder?

I preordered NBA 2K15 on Best Buy website and did store pickup. Walked into Best Buy on Tuesday asked the rep I was picking up my copy. She got it and asked for my credit card I used for the purchase and my Driver's License. I gave her both and she told me to sign the receipt and I walked away. Was I suppose to give her my Member Number during that whole transition? Or was I fine and I should see the 500 points just show up on my account?

Thanks in advance. And sorry again if this has been answered!
when you ordered online, your member number was already part of your profile, so they have it. this is basically saying if you preordered in store and go in, you would have to give them your info to get the purchase on your account, since you could just go and preorder in store without giving them any information.

I'm assuming you guys bought SoM online? I preordered in store with a $5 deposit after I seen the reviews. I picked it up on launch day. No points pending yet

Mine aren't pending yet, but my Destiny points took longer than most also so I'm not worried.  For reference I purchase online but pickup in store.

Just t my 500 for SoM this morning too.  Pre-ordered Sunset Overdrive with the points to pay $40 with the preorder bonuses after tax.  Hopefully, the 500 for Sunset Overdrive will post before November 10, so I can preorder Assassin's Creed Unity with those points.  I will preorder AC either way, but it just comes down to whether I get to use my points on it.

Funny, I went/plan on Watch Dogs --> Madden 15 --> Destiny --> Shadow of Mordoor --> Sunset Overdrive --> AC Unity --> Witcher 3 --> Batman: Arkham Knight, and paying $35/40 each after tax, and getting the pre-order bonuses, too.  Too bad there is no deal for Bloodbourne!

I'm almost doing it like that but normally I let my points build up. And I've bought some games that didn't have the bonus. Now that SoM points posted, I used a $20 Cert towards Halo Collection. After my points post from GTA/FarCry I will have about $60-$70 in Certs. Was planning on buying The Crew with that but I have to wait for reviews, heard some bad things for far. Might end up waiting for a sale on FH2 instead.

It's still awhile off so we might still get a bonus on Bloodbourne and/or The Order. Dying Light comes out in Jan. and Evolve drops in Feb, I believe they get Certs. That'd be a way to keep the Cert Train rolling for you.

Just seen starting Oct 12 BB will carry Modded Evil Controllers. If you preorder you get a bonus 250 points.

preorder points now pending for SoM.

traded it in last night though. just didnt click with me. TIV is currently $40 + $4 GCU bump + $10 RZ works out to more than i paid (with GCU). maybe pick it up again on a GF sale.

I've preorder all my games online with In-Store pick up and have received my points every time. You should be fine.

:D Should be showing now. Going to use it on Evil Within when it clears next week

Thanks guys for the reply. Well I just checked my purchase history this afternoon before heading to work and I see this:

Will this change in a few days or did something happen? I noticed kickrockz713 status looks way different than mine when comparing to his. I don't even see the "Victory Can Be Preordered Bonus" under the "Total points for this transaction". I'm probably just being paranoid.

give it 15-20 days, then another point category will reflect with the 500. "Victory can be pre-ordered" or what-not.

Never had this delay problem.  Even my NBA 2k15 points are pending as of Tuesday.  Online preorder, shipped on Tues, first delivery try yesterday (signature required, uggh.  We have day jobs you know!).  I do a mix of instore and online preorders and have had all of them show up the next day as pending and they clear consistently at about the 2 week mark.  Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm still waiting on SoM bonus points, but getting them by Monday will suffice for my pre-ordering needs. Will just keep an eye out for it.

Just a heads up, I know the game isn't part of the program. My preorder for The Evil Within shipped today. That's now 3 weeks in a row with 3 game releases.

Shadow of Mordor
Alien: Isolation
The Evil Within

All shipped the Thursday before release and I received on release day.

Isn't there a bragging section for stuff like this?

:) Seriously, though, I think you are just extremely lucky. I'd love to have release day shipping so I could avoid making a trip to the store on release day.

I didn't catch it but was the 500 point for SoM only on the pre order?

The gamers club unlocked 20% off works on pre-orders too right?

I messaged the moderators in the BBY forums in regards to my Post Purchase price matching thread that disappeared below are there responses

Good morning,

It appears that we have received a definite response in-regards to the thread that you created and will be updating the Gamers Club Unlocked FAQ shortly.  We archived the thread in-order to clear up any potential confusion.  Please keep in mind that we reserve the right to delete or edit any posts when deemed necessary.  With that being said, please check the forum periodically for an update.

Hello qualityman13,

I believe Derek may have already responded to you on this, but I just wanted to offer a quick response as well! A lot of the threads that spoke of price matching and using GCU had a lot of 'gray area' information, so we decided to archive them to clear up any confusion. After working with the GCU team directly, we've gotten to the point where we're at a definitive response on this, which is actually to the benefit of our customers! We'll be updating the FAQ soon, which is located here, so keep an eye out.

Thanks for being mindful of what's going on with past posts!

Sorry wasn't really bragging just trying to pass along info. Before those 3 games all other releases have arrived at least the Thursday of release or later. I'd prefer to pick up at the store but my closest store is 45 minutes away.

So should we be able to Post Purchase PM?

So should we be able to Post Purchase PM?
I replied back asking what is the definitive answer? Since the only reason the rep did not deny me earlier this week is because I showed her the thread... Which worries me, since if we can post purchase price match why would the archive my thread?
