As a My Best Buy member, get $10 in reward certificates per game title you pre-order and purchase.
Eligible titles are available for :xb1: :ps4: :360: :ps3: :pc:.
 
What do I have to do to qualify for this offer?
If you are an eligible My Best Buy member, pre-order your copy of any of the qualifying titles in either the standard version or special edition for PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 or PC prior to their release date. Then you must purchase and pick up your pre-order within 7 days of street date. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup. When you meet these requirements, you will receive 500 bonus points credited to your account within 15 days of purchase or game shipment.
 
Where can I pre-order and purchase the qualifying games to qualify for this offer?
You may pre-order and purchase any of the qualifying games in Best Buy stores or online at BestBuy.com. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup.
 
Can I pre-order and purchase multiple copies of an eligible game and get multiple rewards?
No. There is a limit of one (1) award per My Best Buy member per game title.

Q: Can the 20% off Unlocked benefit be combined with a price match?
A: At the time of purchase, you would receive either the price match or 20% off. You would not be able to receive 20% off of a matched price. If Best Buy's price is lowered during the return/exchange period, the price will be matched to the lower price (upon request). My Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked Members should receive the new price along with the 20% discount. This price match covers one price match per identical item per customer.

But thats exactly it...Ghosts was the most flipped game of the year and any good CAG already traded in 3 XB1 versions. Unless you have a second GCU its not worth risking going over the bannable amount.

Ah, well if you've held on to a cheap copy or recently got one (like the MS deal) then it makes more sense.

This deal requires you to spend about $30 to $40, depending on your state tax, on a game. I guess it comes down to if you wanted the game or not.

Also I kind of miss BO and BOII, they were by far the best CODs since the original PC games and MW1.

If you are only spending $30 its a great deal, but again I dont see where the cheap copies of Ghosts are coming from and BO and BO 2 havent seen any good sales either.

 
I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but is there a list somewhere of the old games that were a part of the promo? I'm looking through my points list and noticed I have 2 games so far that should have gotten the points but didnt receive it for some reason.

I also ordered online (pre-order). I just called the 888 number and got 10.44 back. Dunno how they calculated that coz I was only expecting 8.70. My 500 pts bonus also posted.

I sent Mike a pm on the forums about the price adjustment for shadow of mordor , Brian messaged me back and processed the adjustment for me . Unlike some other responses from Aaron he was pretty cool about it . He even apologized for the "negative experience" of attempting to get it done over the phone .

Dang, I just realized how crazy the next four weeks are going to be.

Basically picking up 6 games for the $10 Cert Promo.

Would have been 8 if they had Little Big Planet 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition on the list. 

I really need to get through current backlog before it grows.  :whee:  :whee:  :whee:

P.S. Got my price adjustment on Shadow of Mordor but now I have to figure out which GC they refunded  :D/

Look up your order it will say which gift card/cards you paid with .
 
Dang trying to place an in store pick up order of halo master chief collection and when I put all my payment information through it said due to high demand this product is sold out and removed from your cart. :whistle2:( Can I still pre order it in store or did that show up in error and I should try again? Maybe I'll try an in store order at the other Best Buy and see if that one goes through.
 
Ok I just tried the other Best Buy for Halo MCC and getting the same message that the item has been removed from my cart at the end of checkout. :whistle2:( Are there the $5 pre order cards for this in store?

Other than release date pickup, is there a reason to order for in-store pickup rather than delivery? Any extras you get for in-store pickup? I guess there are probably some midnight releases with giveaways and such, but I don't know.

Yeah I decided to just do shipping and the order went through fine. Release day pick up was the only reason. Hope I can get it close to release day still. Never pre ordered with shipping so I have no idea how long it will take with standard shipping. Can't believe I procrastinated pre ordering this for so long especially since I had the gift cards sitting there since before they put this on the $10 back list. :whistle2:( oh well least I'll have CODAW to keep me busy until this comes in. :) think I'll get it in the mail though before that weekend?

Not only that, say 10,000 ppl are eligible how many non CAG/elite plus vets would even know to pay attention for a price drop at all(alot of people toss receipts right after) then there`s those who know but won`t for various reasons. Just in those two that`s probably at least 50%-80% of the 10,000.

True - but if BB is the first store to do this. Don't you think they would get more consumers to buy from their store? That would generate more foot traffic and web clicks?

In principal price match is a "loss" so that`s how they will always see it. Then consider how many total products they sell x the 10,000 per item "loss" that`s alot to make a sure thing w/o the sure thing of equal or better returns.

If you`ve read my posts you`ll find I`m cetainly pro pm options & I`ve push HARD regarding them on here & BB forums but from BB responses in regards to other pm terms this won`t happen per the "loss". They wouldn`t consider a pm`ing specialist(not a new hire just trained) at each store b/c their sole position would be designed to "lose money.

Someone feel free to post the idea via Ideax I`ll happilly support it but I think we`d get more traction by showing them how to make pm profitable in a faster way.

Along with having a better price match FAQ @ dc delta although we may see an update soon when the holiday policy goes up. Spelling it out in detail from Elite/elite plus/GCU would help so so much using "real" #`s $59.99 or $47.99.

I used a $15 cert to bring the price down, but since I had to cancel my order, I'm now missing that $15 reward certificate. Can someone tell me when it will show up again under the My Best Buy reward screen?

Ouch. Not sure if it will automatically. I'd probably call customer service and explain the situation. Be sure to sob a little bit, should prove helpful.
 
So when you preorder the MCC from Best Buy or other retailers, you get an in game skull that turns on modifiers.  Does anyone know if these skulls work only in Halo 2 or do they work across all 4 games in the bundle?

EDIT: I notice on the MCC page on xbox.com it says " The “Boom” Skull unlock for the Halo 2: Anniversary Campaign is exclusive until 12/12/2014."  That makes me think it only works for Halo 2...what is the deal with the "exclusive" part?

Yup, Halo 2 only since they aren't going to modify Halo 1/3/4 with this collection. I would say that means they are all coming out as DLC on the 12th of December, so if you don't pre-order from there you can still get them if you just wait a month without paying crazy eBay prices or such.

Good info, thanks. Does turning on skulls in game affect the ability to obtain achievements? I know that happens in some games where if you turn on modifiers, you can't earn achievements.

Skulls have never disabled achievements in Halo so I would guess they do not this time again, usually they are neutral or negative to the player though. However, the ones that were like infinite ammo in Halo Anniversary also didn't turn them off. As a matter of fact, some of the achievements require you to have skulls on since I know the Collection has some for doing the LASO (Legendary All Skulls On) playlists.

I was hoping more for DA:I to be added to this promo rather than get a $10 GC because preorders retroactively get the $10 in points added, but you'll have a heck of a time trying to convince anyone at Best Buy to give you a free $10 GC for an order made half a year ago. :???:

Nice, my Shadow Warrior pre-order hasn't even shipped yet though. I usually go with instore pickup but It wasn't available at the time and I didn't want to miss out on the GC for whatever reason. :whistle2:(

What we DO have is the DLC for each that is listed and Little Big Planet 3 for PS4 - the Day One Edition comes with a 6" plush Sackboy.

GCU members will get their 20% off on these but will only get a 4.8" plush Sackboy.

Does anybody think Dragon Age Inquisition will end up on the $10 List or is it pretty much too late for that to happen? Maybe it's just because I haven't played the series much, but I feel like with all the popular AAA games coming out in November EA would want to do everything they can to push that specific title.
